I have Bloodlust on both Sword & Warhorn for quick 25 stacks. Fire on GS & Rifle.

For WvW, Sw/WH can also have Energy/Hydromancy if you’re using that set to stay mobile

I use Bloodlust on my Rifle, Air on my Bow (going for Fire as soon as possible) and Blood on my GS. Combine Blood sigil, Omno Pies and Shout build and I can stick DPSing targets for very long time.

There is no absolute answer, as it really depends on what you’re doing.
I have Fire on my GS, since it’s mostly used when I’m going dps.
I go Blood on my Axe because my crit is already really high and constant proccing lifesteal is nice.
I go Water on my Mace since I tend to use it tanking or Shout heal, so extra group heals help.

Still need to get a Bloodlust set to build up stacks before dungeons.

What lvl do i start getting sigils and how do i get them. Im brandnew to GW so forgive my noobness. I love the game and in wow was a warrior so no doubt i want to roll a warrior first in GW. Ive got GS and then sword axe for other set. Is that fine? Also I take it i concentrate on +power for my warrior? Thanks guys.

For GS anything works for me honestly, but i guess I would have to give it to sigil of perception.
Rifle I usually go with bloodlust or force.
Sword I go with sigil of generosity, purity of nullification.
Horn is the same thing as the sword with just a different sigil.

Although honestly I don’t use the GS much in wvw, the mobility is nice but I prefer the Hammer and sword/shield sooooo much more.

Where do i get the sigils? Is it for the upgrade slot of the weapon?

in pve i use a sigil of speed for my greatsword. in orr farming i can rack up 2 minutes of swiftness easily and effortlessly.

in dungeons i run a sigil of endurance on my shield. helps keep me mobile and safe

Yes, sigils are for the upgrade slots in your weapons.

Sigils, in lower levels usually come already placed in weapons when you get them. At lower levels you should’t bother that much about sigils since you will be changing your weapons a lot.

But, if you really want some sigils, you can look for them on TP (auction house) and/or look for their recipes on the wiki. Many Sigils and Runes can be crafted. Sigils by weapon craft professions (weaponsmith, huntsman and artificer) and Runes by armor craft professions (armorsmith, leatherwork and tailoring).

I’m old school GW, so in my eyes, regular, no-risk IAS is the pinnacle.
To that end, an axe with a rage sigil backed up with an offhand with a perception sigil and Knight’s armour / trinkets gives me frequent procs of quickness, more frequent than Frenzy’s cooldown, and with none of the risk associated with Frenzy.
Heck, I don’t even have anything specced in arms, yet my crit chance when the perception sigil is at 25 is over 80%.

Im using Sigil of Impact in my Hammer. Is it waist of sigil or any good?
