Let me first say that I’ve only been a level 80 now for a few days and so I’m going to initially assume that my problem is that I’m pretty much still a noob at my class. However, I’ve built my warrior as a full on zerker with a focus on the “sniper” side of the house using Rifle + GS with an Axe/Shield alternate.

My biggest problem so far in WvW are those darn Mesmers! If I can lock one down using bulls rush or something else, they die in seconds to 1k blades. Other than this, I tend to really struggle with them especially with those shatter builds. They just create so many clones that I have a hard time telling which one is the real Mesmer.

I don’t understand as when I played a Mesmer, Warriors would just eat me alive. Any suggestions on what I should be looking for?

you are too squishy one mistake and you are down and against mesmer clones that happens a lot, but even with the right build a good mesmer is hard to take down you have to go through his clones to get him and even if you do … pufft he teleported to another clone then rinse and repeat , i guess you have to be way mobile and force him to burn his teleports before closing on him or bring heavy AoE (Hammer/Longbow) to take him down with his clones

Too squishy, should I change over to some more soldiers gear then? Those huge crits from the rifle have been pretty fun.
