Why theres a two handed hammer and a two handed sword but not a two handed axe? Cmon! To be a true norn i must have a two handed axe or i will be cursed for my entire life.

It would be so awesome that i would even stop complaining about the other classes in pvp

It was frequently asked for before release, I believe Anet said (in Reddit AMA IIRC) that it’s expansion material.

There’s minor differences but for the sake of the argument I’ll say “yes.”

Also I’d like to suggest naginatas, more known as spearblades, more known as polearms, more known as Jarvan-IV’s-weapon-but-not-extendable.

As an in-between of GS’s damage/mobility and hammer’s control.

Spears as above water weapons.

A little less serious, Spear + Shield:
This is SPARTA. 2 handed spear unless using a shield.

1. Stab: Stab your foe
2. What is your profession?: Inspire allies granting buffs
3. Spear Throw: Throw your spear to immobilize your target
4. Shield Bash: Stun foe with a shield bash
5. Shield Defense: Raise your shield until canceled, counter all foes attacks with a stab, synchronizes with spear shield warriors in a horizontal line with yourself.

Now every warrior can be what they dreamed, a Spartan.
Utility: shouts and kick, for those “THIS IS SPARTA” times

I would love to see this even if it was just skins for a hammer, skills would somewhat make sense but that wouldn’t matter to me, would look so dam cool on the my Norn.

Forget two-handed axes, there is not enough variety in that!

Why? You get your two-handed axes back, in addition to all the other goodies!

I’ve always wanted polearm classes in mmo’s. Recently played Tera Online just to play the lancer class and it was fun as hell to play. I understand spears are with underwater combat but hotkittenwould I love a naginata.

As a Norn all I can say is that any self-respecting Norn would use an axe. Not some wimpy hatchet nor compensating-for-something great sword, but a TWO HANDED AXE OF TOTAL BAD ARSENESS.
