Unroot !
frankly I like the design of these abilities. You actually need to set them up with cc to use them reliably. I wish more classes were designed like this.
I could see an argument for reducing their cast times or channel duration slightly (since it’s difficult to land them even with cc), but that’s debatable.
Pretty sure this will never happen, as it would require a completely new animation, and it’s already probably the most complex animation in the game.
Lets take a leaf out of the most OP profession’s book. Gain invulnerability while hacking and slashing away. “But no!” They say “It’ll be OP!” They say, yet it exists on a profession that can keep up a non stop assault with their F buttons alone…
Just drop the Greatsword seriously, after the frenzy nerf it lost its only use considering the current state of Rush.

He’s talking about mesmers using blurred frenzy.
I still can’t figure out why 100b wasn’t the burst ability on the greatsword in the first place… they’ve had it back-asswards from the start.
I think it’d be cool if it had some kind of “tracking” to it, like tsunami slash (spear #5) or the ranger’s sword chain. That way, you’re still “rooted” in a sense, but you’re still pressuring your opponent without swinging at the air like some crazed fool. I imagine that would be pretty complicated on the dev’s end though.
Aye mesmers. Though thieves can invul slash away as well (though they don’t have as good of an F ability as mesmers.)
Have you ever Tsunami Slashed someone!? That attack is beast. It’s a shame people avoid water as though its the plague, were actually pretty good in that department.

Yeah, the Tsunami autotracks. You home in on people, and in the WvWvW “Bay” keeps in the borderlands, there are frequently water fights.
In those cases, I really am glad I have my warrior. But in every other case, I always feel like I wish I had my ele (for roaming) or engineer (for sieges/defenses).

You can always go fight that dastardly Wurm on your warrior though… Bugger has my precursor stashed away somewhere, just won’t give it to me.
