Whenever there are other warriors in my team it seems like they ALWAYS run FGJ. This is fun to chain in a team, each one shouts after another. Whenever there is other warriors I always run this just so I fit in. I never want to be that one warrior without it. Is there some unwritten rule? I notice in banks too, warriors will randomly chain FGJ who dont even know each other. It does sound nice but whats with this

Fury plus 3 stacks of might plus whatever shout traits or runes one might have all on a 25 second cool down? What is not to love. Not to mention in dungeon and some group work control utilities aren’t very good so there goes bull’s charge, stomp, bolas, and fear me. Banners are good but require baby sitting. Signets help you but not the party. And half the stances re not really good for PvE.

Would like to mention I can stack up to 9 stacks of might with fury using FGJ and other skills, up to 6 additional stacks per warrior. It really helps the group fly through things.

FGJ is one of the Warrior’s best, and most iconic, abilities.

It’s a great DPS-increasing tool for all team, and when two warriors chain it it’s 6 might and permafury for all team.
I usually also run Empower Allies and Banner of Strength, another 160 power to all team.

All together it’s 265 power permanently just from me yelling stuff.
“Lethal combination! I like it!”

Tbh any warrior silly enough to get caught not using FGJ by me will suffer greatly!
There is absolutely no excuse for not using it.

Be gratefull,because they give you a constant 20% crit,constant 105 power,constant 105 condi dmg.You know most warrs could switch to self buffs easily,but FGJ is more effecient since it BUFFS allies…Complain more if they keep using it in battles,by all means,ask them to stop Buffing you…..

Well, to be fair, most of use do use it as a self-buff.

The buffing of allies is just a side-effect!

Yup… I even add Empower Allies and Banner of Strength on top of that when possible, so my whole team gets 370 power and 195 condition damage constantly.

Warrior carry the burden of managing the team’s offense department so yeah be grateful we do these things.
If you look at the stat window and realize your attack just went skyrocket you now know it’s us.

We should really make a big event with all Warriors FGJ’ing.

I even don’t know what can substitute FGJ in PvE. It’s not only great for parties, it’s great for solo too.

The skill has been resting in my 7 slot ever since I first got it way back at launch.

It seems like warriors are synchronizing their FGJ but they actually aren’t. They are just smashing the key whenever it’s on cooldown so multiple warriors end up smashing it at the same time.

Still the best utility skill to have if you aren’t in full defense stance. It improves everyone’s ability to do better while totally disregarding player skill, which is awesome.

I have it on autocast… Great way to annoy people in cities as well. As for synching, no use since the duration just stacks up

I use it for PvE a lot. It’s just a stupidly convenient way to acquire fury with a side of might. As a bonus it also gives everyone else the same buffs, so it’s hard to find a better choice of skill in PvE.

In PvP my build requires skill that aren’t “For Great Justice”, so I have to give up the nearly perma fury.

If there is some sort of “unspoken code” then I never heard of it nor do I give much of a kitten. I run it in PvE because, as I expect is the case for most people, it’s just stupid good. There is no point in “synchronizing” them anyways. They stack. So you can’t really “override” each other.

You should sync FGJ for sure. It’s the GW2 version of:

“Bro!”
“BRO!”
“~bro!”

Every warrior uses FGJ in PvE because there’s literally nothing else you could choose that would be a better use of your third utility slot.

It’s a combination of FGJ being stupidly efficient and most of our utility being lackluster or pure garbage.

I really doubt that. Everyone loves FGJ, not just Warriors.

Why would they?

5 signets wars are bad, true. But evrything else is party-oriented. And pretty much effective.

Most either auto cast it or hit it every time they notice the CD is up, this naturaly staggers a bit depending on CD times and how diligent the player is at geting it off. Also a warrior traited for healing shouts will have a 20s CD vs the 25 of non traited so they are even less likely to line up.

Myself I burn it on CD unless I’m faceing alot of conditions in the fight, in that case I’ll hold it for up to 5 seconds to see if a condition will pop up on myself or an ally so my soldier runes can eat it. Also entertaining on harpy fractal after the frogger run. Activate console FGJ, activate second one, Shake it off! and hit the third clearing off immobilize from the console each time and doing with 1 person what should take 3.
