I have a minor sigil of corruption equipped on my sword and a minor sigil of of bloodlust on my axe. While duel weilding, I’m unable to get the sigil of corruption to work. The bloodlust works fine. When using my rifle, which has a sigil of corruption, nothing happens, I still only have the sigil of bloodlust displaying with my other boons.

Can only one of these type of sigils work? Or have a stumbled onto another bug?

You are correct in saying that only one type of stacking sigil works. They did this so that someone couldn’t just go an stack all different types of sigils and give all their stats a crazy boost. You have to pick one.

I would love to have +250 power, condition damage, and precision. That’s like the best parts of 5 orb bonuses in WvW.

Only one sigil can be active as once, as they said. Specifically, whatever one you start building first (first kill) is what gets precedent.

However, they last even if you change weapons. So you can use, for example, a Rifle of Bloodlust to build 25 stacks for 250 power, and then swap to a Greatsword of Force for +5% damage. You’ll get the 250 power and the extra 5% damage that way.

Worth considering. Just keep in mind only one sigil can be active at a time

So for duel wielding, what should I put in the upgrade slot of my 2nd weapon?

If you have high precision, I’d go with an on-crit sigil (Sigil of Strength or Sigil of Earth for example). If you have low crit rate, a flat DPS boost like Sigil of Force (+5% damage) would work well.

Alternatively, if you switch weapons a lot, something like Sigil of Battle (3 stacks of might while swapping) could work.

Thanks, I’ll try those. There is a fire one that can cause AoE damage that I think will be fun.
