I wrecked a full condi chrono in wvw today, and he angrily insisted it only happened because I was running “the most broken kitten in teh game!” before blocking me.

This surprised me, because I was running a power s+sh/gs vanilla warrior with only Berserker Stance and Brawlers Recovery for condi mitigation.

So I thought I’d turn to the collective wisdom of the warrior forum to guess the most insanely broken magic powers someone might believe a vanilla warrior possesses?

(I’ll start us off)

I once used Rampage while fighting 1v10 against a guild group. This turned me into Godzilla and transported me to their actual city irl, which I immediately trashed, causing them all to disconnect and lose the fight. I received a precursor from each of them.

- Warriors can build for 100% up-time damage immunity

- Warriors can passively out-heal glass canon damage dealers attacking them

- Warriors can one-shot bunkers with Hundred Blades

Warriors can be build for unblockable hits as well.

Well… Most player to like to be killed and come with various excuse to cover up their flaw. Having someone raging on you in WvW is a common occurence whatever profession you play.

If he had won, he would probably had a sneer and just gone bothering/fighting someone else to enjoy it’s “superiority”.

its nonsense and salty , warriors have had alot of nerfs and is now mid tier, it was junk and other professions think it’s low skill so get the hump as its no longer a free stomp. ignore.

Most of you are injecting a lot more realism in this than I expected. Here’s another one….

Battle Standard doesn’t just rez up to five allies, it also uninstalls gw2 from up to five enemies’ computers. The only downside is you have to trait for it.

Healing Signet not only has an amazing passive heal, it also causes skill lag to enemy players. Therefore, making it easier for warriors to defeat their opponent.

Also, I once killed 15 players with a single “Fear Me!”. It was glorious!

For a whole PvP season I made all necro in my team unkillable with a Sw/A riffle and shout build. I gave them so much sustain, it even healed the through shroud.

Oh! Don’t even get me started on PVP my friends!

Once, I held 3 points simultaneously (all by myself) while armed only with a warhorn! You heard me correct. No main hand weapons of any kind. Now you’re probably wondering how I accomplished this feat. Let me tell you, it wasn’t easy. In fact, I’m not even sure how I did it. But that’s not important right now. All you need to know is that it happened and it was awesome. Warriors are truly OP.

Speaking of shouts, I once used “Fear Me!” and the faces of every enemy on all four maps melted and their heads exploded. I followed that with an impossible guitar solo that made interstellar space travel possible and I flew to another galaxy on winged battle tiger named Kitten This!

All lords and supervisors immediately declared fealty, raised my guild banner, and the matchup ended early because #warriorsOPaf.

And that was just a warm-up…. My shouts weren’t even vigorous yet.

My vanilla war once beat Chuck Norris in a duel.

Once, my guild mates thought I was too kitteny on my vanilla warrior and told me to solo our next GvG fight.

That was an easy win. Even got a precursor.

Vanilla Warrior is so OP, it’s the only class you can play and win fights without using a monitor. All you need is a keyboard (a mouse is optional).

Note:
Be advised that even though it is NOT technically against the rules to use a Monitor, Mouse and Keyboard together in unison, salty whispers may occur when playing Vanilla Warrior in such a manner.

Well, if everyone is forced to play vanilla, warrior is probably indeed the strongest right now.

Vanilla warriors are so powerful, not even George R. R. Martin could kill them in his books.

One time I was solo roaming on warrior and I got into a 1v3. I stealth spiked a thief. Snow Leopard OP.

…you know, I heard Chuck Norris quit WoW to play GW2 as a Warrior. If you see that one war wipe out a zerg of 100 in WvW, it’d be Chuck still trying to find a battle worthy of his OPness.

Not really, warrior is one of the least nerfed classes in the game (along with “we feel it is in a good position” guard), go see thief, engy, etc for classes that have had a lot of nerfs over the history of this game.

And as for this thread in regard to WvW roaming, it is one of the strongest classes, huge damage whilst being pretty tanky/sustained and with good mobility, and like every other class that has been strong at roaming in WvW is not balanced in the slightest, though it is ironic a condi mesmer is complaining…

Bu then that is GW2 for you, low skill game about abusing cheese builds and one of the reasons WvW/PvP are in the state they are in.

Each time I join EBG as a vanilla warrior, the other servers get the outnumbered buff.

My vanilla war can duel wield Greatswords. Say hello to Sunrise in my right hand and Twilight in my left.

Obviously s/he was just angry, which I’m sure you know as well.

That said, Warrior does have some pretty broken builds, in my own opinion. I’m not sure about enough so to warrant any major nerfs but I wouldn’t argue if someone said X is pretty OP.

The build I’ve shared here before is what I run in WvW. It absolutely has clear counters but honestly, most things can’t do it effectively. The only things I have much trouble with are good D/P Thieves, Thieves using Deadly Arts (the Poison on Steal pretty much makes my high armor irrelevant) or well played Dragonhunter’s. Although if I get them low enough to proc Signet Of Might, it usually ends pretty quick after that. I’m not sure that the build is OP but I honestly feel that it’s borderline at minimum. I can facetank a ridiculous amount of damage and my opponent only needs to mess up once to take fatal damage. With 3.5k armor and 20k health, I can still crit upwards of 10k on Eviscerates (although I’ve been using hammer lately instead, which still hits incredibly hard when traited).

As a warrior, I soloed SM’s lord with a smokescale and my dolly signet, and when i capped it, no tonly did 100 AC’s/Bali’s/Treb’s/Shield Gens/Cats all auto build themselves around it, but I was able to tame the lord as my own pet and everytime I took a step, my aura buff gave all my allies server wide perma evade and +100k damage unblockable piercing AA’s

I was on my warrior, in wvw, roaming, solo capping towers and keeps, no siege was needed just used “kick”. Oh and I can solo legendary defenders, and i was duel wielding two great swords, and a warhorn in my butt, you know for the movement speed.

I can just stand there and 100blade drawing a zerg into the shredder with my charming and cute asura.

The Borderlands Accords signed last year by Vanilla Wars and Chuck Norris stipulated that they should never be on the same map at the same time as any clash of a Vanilla Wars Hundred Blades and Chuck’s Roundhouse kick would release so much energy the Borderlands would be vaporized.

Note: It actually advised that they be on completely different Tiered Servers for added safety.

We warriors are so mighty that we solo Caudecus, outhealing all his DPS, negating his invuln with our awesomeness, denying his CC with our perma-stability. Did I mention that we do all of this naked, afk or if we happen to actually play our toons, facerolling.

We solo all the dungeons with world records without even trying.

Warriors are forbidden in raids because they one-shot all the bosses.

Whats hilarious is that we at yaks bend get a daily dose of this stuff from someone who actually thinks hes being serious and has a hard on for Race Cars and Healing people Ahem

Vanilla warrior so powerful , I used the Chill from the vanilla “I scream” (it is a shout you know) to kill 12 enemies at once.

So Vanilla War went to Redbriar, broke down the gate with [Kick] and screamed [Fear Me!]. Some foolish enemies remained within, so Vanilla War said [For Great Justice!] and went [Berseker] on them with 250 Stacks of Might. Feeling the [Adrenaline Rush] Vanilla War turned his eyes on the local Lord and shouted [To The Limit!]. The Lord immediately sent his trusted Veteran Guards on him, but Vanilla War took a [Balanced Stance] and applied [Hundred Blades] with [Outrage]. One quick [Rush] later the Lord was on his knees before Vanilla War, but nevertheless got [Impale] with a [Final Thrust]… and thus ended the [Rampage] of Vanilla War at Redbriar, [Rip].
