Vengeful Trait
No thank you. I love my “Sweet Vengeance” trait. It can turn the fight around.

You do realise if they get rid of the Trait and do the changes (or near it) above like I suggested it could be better than having your “100% sweat veng” only in a kill right?
I like the feature too, but wasting things like Signet Mastery, Mobile Strikes… etc for a 100% veng is dumb. Very very bad trait.

Signet mastery does not compete with “Sweet Vengeance” because it is an adept trait. And “Sweet Vengeance” is a master trait. Instead of saying “this trait sucks” try giving a valid reason as to why the trait is worthless. The trait guarantees that you get out of downed state by yourself if you kill someone. That’s a pretty good trait to me.

“If you kill someone”… otherwise, the trait is worthless and offers you nothing but a guarantee on keeping you alive after Vengeance, of course, in pve this chance is way higher, and maybe you’re defending it on pve wise, my concern is pvp, and this Trait pvp wise, im sorry bobomb, its garbage. Even an adept trait offer you more in fights.

I am talking PvP wise. I play a zerk build so I suppose I may find it easier to kill someone quickly and stay alive than a condi bunk build. I am sorry pupi but you still haven’t given a valid reason as to why it is bad. You also say “nothing but a guarantee on keeping you alive after Vengeance” like that is nothing? Staying alive doesn’t matter anymore I suppose? I don’t think matches are won by laying on the floor in the defeated state now are they?

Of course, i agree staying alive is the most important for a capture point, but if you are in a duel for a capture point at the end of a disputed round, sweet vengeance replaced for a -20% cd’s on signets, mobile strikes, sharpened axes (if you use them) or DoE, make your chances in that duel to “stay alive” and not comming downed way because of the benefits these traits gives you “during the fight”, and not only when you’re virtually dead.
Any skilled player, won’t let the warrior get up on Vengeance, unless someone from your team comes help.

I shall say this one last time just so you can remember it. Sweet Vengeance does not compete with Signet Mastery. Sharpened axes is a situational trait because you would have to be a zerk axe user in order to gain it’s benefits. Mobile strikes is a good trait but not so much when you have condition cleanses, or just flat out avoid any immobilization.
In any case you have your opinion and I have mine. But you should never justify nerfs/buffs based on opinion. Facts are what we should be basing tweaks to traits on and Sweet Vengeance is simply not a bad trait. You can argue it is but so far you haven’t done so.
You say about justify nerfs/buffs based on opinion, i guess you forget we’re playing a massive multiplayer game, opinions is the most we will get, and even the decisions on nerfs and buffs in the game, are based on “opinions” by feedback, thats why forums are, for discussion, yet, you have your poi, i have mine, if you’re happy good for you, i just went write this down because some devs read the forums, if they’re going to change it or not in the future, i did my part as a player.
Personally, I would never run Sweet Vengence in a PvP scenario. It is far too situational and is used in only one situation (when you kill someone while vengenced). That means you’ll hardly be using that trait. Just because it is a master trait, doesn’t mean its worth is that of a master trait. I personally would take a number of the adept traits and master traits over sweet vengence, because they are in far more constant use.

I think I dont need to say more, Syde, im pretty sure that a lot of ppl share these feelings, unbelievable there are ppl who use it.

Well, to be fair you can also kill a deer =P
My take on sweet revenge by warlord.
Buggy sweet revenge is an intresting trait that will grant you a 100% chance to rally if you get credit for a kill. The buggy part is you won’t always get credit for kills that you tag. And not all things that you kill reward you with XP / Credit.
That makes buggy sweet revenge not work 100% of the time like it says it does. I have also experienced receiving credit for a kill but not receiving a rally.
The last thing that makes this a very bad trait. Is the activation time for vengance is longer than the stomp time. Meaning. Even if you throw a rock to knock your opponent down who is trying to stomp you If they started the stomp as soon as you went down there is no way you will ever get a chance to use this.
That makes this trait and downed skill not very usefull outside of PVE where mobs don’t stomp you right away to make sure you cant use this skill.

Y’know… there’s more to the game than just PvP. So what if the trait happens to be only useful for PvE? Don’t take away my PvE salvation button just because it doesn’t appeal to players of an adjacent game.
Actually Sweet Revenge is not at all bad for condi builds, since those builds end up double downed a lot more often than power builds. In a double down situation Sweet Revenge is practically automatic rally.

The thing is he was talking about PvP.

He was talking about removing the trait from the game entirely.

Yes i was talking about removing the trait, but stating that this trait is very bad on PVP wise!
Although, removing it and raising vengeance duration and higher chance for the proc, could be way more benefical than having the trait slotted.
