I would just like to share this build because I have been having crazy fun with it and I would love for others to enjoy themselves with it as well.

DISCLAIMER

This build has many weaknesses and is not optimal in any way, shape or form. It is strictly a pleasure build that can do some really solid damage and if used properly can be excellent at both melee and range.

Note that it has no mobility so you will have to treat it like you would a solo roaming Necromancer. Have eyes on the back of your head and watch the map otherwise you will get ganked.

It has very high damage at both melee and range so whether your target decides to get in your face or kite you will be painful to be near either way. Rifle of course is not an ideal weapon but Kill Shot is almost like Eviscerate in the sense that both bursts have potential to OHKO squishies.

Feel free to modify it as you like but I hope you enjoy it regardless. It’s a bit silly but it’s the most fun I’ve had with Warrior. Forcing Thieves to kite you because you have high melee damage then tagging them in the buttcheek with a Kill Shot when they try to run is just golden.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve played Rifle/Axe+Shield myself before, and had the same experience as your report: plenty of fun, with significant success in duels, especially against thieves (constant damage pressure, channeling skills of the rifle quite useful against stealth). It’s a must-have experience for any warrior, I believe!

I tested different builds then, and ended up with something more defensive than what you’re using, a 6/0/5/0/3 traits template (with Burst Precision, as my concern at the time was to try out the XIII new traits). I eventually got away from the Rifle/Axe+Shield setup, because of its inherent flaws: no mobility, difficulty to manage outnumbered fights. I still keep a fond memory of that time.
