Prove me that this is not ridiculously overpowered.
I have been playing for about 200 hours now with no losses in a 1v1 fight for the past 2 months on my warrior. Somewhere after a couple weeks I decided to start marking down my wins, my sheet now has over 510 marks on it for wins, 0 losses, and 3 ties currently in duels and 1v1 fights. I know there isn’t much in the video, was just a few fights recorded today and the other day.

On a more relevant note, it doesn’t appear to me as if you’re substantially overpowered but more so the fact that you obviously know what the hell you’re doing. Fast reaction time, relatively unpredictable rotation, fantastic use of Fear Me along with blasting might for yourself and mitigating incoming damage with dodgerolls.

You could theoretically kick kitten with any class even with awful builds as long as you’re a highly skilled player and have a relatively nice latency.

I could search for videos of OTHER classes beating the living tar out of multiple people by themselves. It doesn’t prove the class is overpowered— it proves that the person dominated. Nothing else.

haha thanks, I always just forget to record when I should record. Normally when I plan on it I never find good fights worth it, then when I don’t even think about it, I run into good ones.

Anybody can do well in 1v1 playing a condi tank. Engineers will do better though.

I posted a condi warrior video from June, pretty much using the shout healing spec with sword/warhorn and longbow. Haven’t used it ever since because of how blatently cheesy it was. You literally have to try and lose on purpose to lose. That and it was kinda boring and it was useless in larger scale fights.

It is overpowered at least when 1v1’s and dueling are concerned, but you can say the same thing with many other condi specs like condi thieves, PU condi mesmers, condi engis which can probably kill this build you have set up. Maybe even condi necro if they play it correctly.

@everyone else, I have fought many combinations of players, tons of PU mesmers, and lots of all kinds of necros, plenty of condi and perplex engis and thieves, have yet to lose to any of them. A zerker warrior stands no chance at all against it. The build is just really cheesy and as far as I know I have yet to come across someone to tame it. I have ended in a draw against a couple of players though, a d/d Ele who played super conservatively, some really super tanky ranger, and another d/d ele. I was pretty confident if we would have gone on forever I would have beat the ranger, but the two ele’s were definitely a forever long battle.

@killahmayne, I have never really fought in large scale battles as I hate the zerg scene, but it does very well in group fights as well with plenty of group support and the aoe burning.

again the only reason why I posted this and even rolled a warrior was to experience just have over powered warrior was and how easy it is to play.

okay warrior may not be the most op, but this build is with my playstyle. Compared to my main professions, ele and thief, warrior is definitely OP.

from what I’ve experienced currently, PU mes and some necro (no nothing about necros) are most OP. I’d throw in condi engi, but they are super easily countered by playing smart.

2. It’s the healing that is broken. Power warriors can run healing signet with shout heals too.

It is not about the racial skills. The small stature of an asura makes the attacks of an warrior less telegraphed and so more difficult to doge.

Complaining about confusion would have been more valid than that.

It’s not , that’s why they are adding an animation . There’s no difference between pin down and lb autoattack .

It’s all about the telegraphing, not the racial skills. In case you still don’t get it:

It’s a legitimate thing that at any moderately skilled level of play telegraphing becomes a huge deal, because knowing specific telegraphs allows you to mitigate the specific skills that are most damaging to you, interrupt heals, and block CC among other things. Asura are significantly more difficult to read due to both vastly smaller size and less clear animations, which combine to give them a clear advantage over other races in any form of PvP.

I haven’t seen anyone complain about asura animations since beta. Always good to have an excuse when you lose a fight, I guess.

I have. For a long time after the beta.
But the reason those qq stop is only because Anet did not response to it once!
There were so many request for ‘no asura’ servers or an option to see all enemies as human modules, but never a replay from anet to this issue – so i guess most of these ppl jut quit the game eventually. Esport ftw!

That’s a total lie. For one, the bow auto attack is “DUAL SHOT” and fires TWO arrows. For another, Pin Down has a bunch of circles around the arrow. Combustive Shot was already needlessly nerfed because the balance team thought it gave adrenaline when it doesn’t. Next people are going to want to nerf Smoldering Arrow.

Warriors seem to get the best of everything… they feel much more powerful to play than other classes… the Golden Child of Arena Net.

I am familiar with what Warhorn brings. It just seems that some of it is a little redundant or overkill.

-Already have Swiftness 39 out of 60 seconds
- Soldier Runes remove conditions (3 shouts), Combustive shot removes 3 conditions every 10 seconds (cleansing Ire), Shake it Off
- Vigor is a big one that stands alone

All at the expense of a ton of damage potential with Torment and more bleeds with off hand sword…and also a block.

That’s why I was wondering what the build was. If it was a hybrid power/condi at least you wouldn’t be completely relying on conditions damage only.

I’ve fought tons of good opponents from maguuma, bp, drsgonbrand, etc… I just don’t always record it. The build is stupid

Another warrior can easily counter this build if he has cleansing ire. Condi warriors can be extremely tanky now thanks to dire armor. You’ll end up in a lot of stale mates eventually as long as the other person has access to condi removal lol. The video fights weren’t impressive though. 2v1’s lol gg

My opinion it’s not OP because if it is I don’t know that PU mesmer has low armor low hp. But with lot’s of boons to mitigate your attack and hide if you’re not playing conditions build PU mesmer will overwhelmed you by AI

The fact that warrior LB is better than both ranger bows combined still makes me sick. Although I find this video a slightly less cheesy than hambow…

Like I said, I’m down to duel anyone on it, so bring your PU build or other warrior builds. I want someone to be able to beat it so I know it’s not a god build. As of so far no one has been able to conquer it, which is very very sad. And I’ve had close to 50-60 duel me in eotm after watching this video.

My warrior is built very similarly to the one here. It’s a great low skill-high reward build that will beat 90% of people you come across in WvW pretty easily. The thing I hate about it is that most popular roaming classes are thieves, mesmers, and warriors and most of them will be able to bug out before you can finish them unless you’re dueling to the death.

About the warhorn use: I used to use OH sword but find the warhorn SO much more useful, usually. Impale has a pretty obvious tell and most skilled opponents can dodge it pretty easily (and when they add the even bigger tell and 3/4s cast time to pin down it’s going to nerf LB pretty hard.) The block is nice but nowhere near as nice as traited warhorn with high uptime vigor (usually 100% with boon conversions), 6s base weakness (great against power builds), and the extra condition cleansing (never enough).

@ TE: pls stop ganking in wvw and judge about classes when you play real pvp.
everytime i see people complaining and making videos, they are people ganking in wvw and killing absolutly idiots.
fight against top 30 players of soloq and complain again and pls quit wvw
