Warhorn weapon damage stat? confused
Well, other profession’s skills have damaging warhorn attacks, so I guess it’s relevant for them…
But yeah, it’s a bit odd that a level 1 warhorn can be just as effective as a level 80 exotic warhorn for warriors, in terms of base damage (obviously the exotic has other stuff on it).

but thats my point. lots of item enhancements dont work for our warhorn since it doesnt attack.
Although the warhorn itself isn’t capable to deal any damage, the status it has does affect your overall status. For example I attached a screenshots with and without equipping the warhorn. As you can see my warhorn has berserker status(pow/pre/crit dam), when I’m not equipping it I lost some of the status. The weapon damage itself seems pointless, but using a lv1 warhorn and a lv80 warhorn definitely give you different kind of status which of course having a lv80 exo warhorn has more benefit despite the fact the weapon damage doesn’t do anything. Also sigil in your warhorn does give the benefit of it. There is a trait that can convert condition into boon with your warhorn skills which also affect any nearby ally, that thing works wonderfully especially when doing dungeon.
Aye, stat bonuses and upgrade components (i.e. sigils) will affect all your attacks, including utility skills. Only the actual damage stat on the weapon will exclusively affect those weapon’s skills and no other skills.
So if you put, say, a sigil of earth in your warhorn, it will proc on your mainhand attacks.
