Guild Wars 2

-I need sugestions on stats in armor, which one to buy(karma, craft or dungeon armor) ….and what to get for second weap…
I will go on this kind of traits
-Defence 30
-Strenght 20
-Discipline 10-20
-Arms 10

-Whats ur opinion on this… Any sugestions on traits?

Assume this is WvW.

You’ll do fine with 0/10/30/0/30.

I use mix of berzerker knight armor 3x each with melandru runes same with jewlery and run 30 0 20 0 20 build axe/sh hammer

I do perfectly fine, not as squishy as full glass but obviously don’t hit as hard either.

I don’t play a Warrior, but I’m considering starting one to have a heavy armor profession.

Is this build useful in PvE at all? I really like the moveset and aesthetic of the Hammer as well as the concept behind the build, but I do a lot more PvE than WvW. I’m not super concerned about mega min-max, but how far off is this build relative to more PvE-centric builds?

Although I’m far from an expert when it comes to pve, I’d imagine that many bosses are immune to the hard cc a hammer brings (I may be wrong).

Warriors have very strong weapons in pve though, you can always save the hammer for WvW (or come to the mists and pvp with the big boys)

Yo check my buddy Callahan (Talon Deathblade ingame) out on Youtube. IMO the best hammer warrior on youtube so far. He uses terrain very cleverly and outwits his opponents a lot of the time and mains a hammer.

Just search Callahan IE on youtube and look at his uploads.

Edit: He mostly capitalizes on Cavalier mixed with Valkyrie gear thanks to unsuspecting foe.

hammer warriors have such easy access to fury & crit chance bonuses through traits that you dont need to worry too much about your crit chance %. I would agree with a mix of Valkyrie / Cavalier with a few Berserker items in the mix to get a nice rounded set of stats.

0/10/300/30 build
PVT armour + divinity runes
Berzerker weapons (Hammer+sword/whorn)
Cavalier trinkets with Ruby Jewels…

I feel this gives me a good balance of power/crit damage and crit chance (21%) which you add to the 50% crit chance on stun bonus and 20% signet of rage means I also crit a lot and can also take a beating :-)

Ok, i’ll never do the damage of a GS warrior but it is a fun build :-)
