Q:
Warrior Armor
A:
I would do condition if you plan on doing range dmg. power if you plan on doing melee dmg.. but for dungeons playing a support with shout heals and healing gear would benefit more since warriors/guardians only 2 healers like that. or you could go power dont skimp on the toughness though and drop banners cause the regen banners are good and you can still do your high dps melee just dont skimp the toughness or your gona get dropped fast in melee.
Knight’s – Offensive Tank
Clerics’s – Defensive Tank
Berserker’s – Glass Canon DPS
Carrion’s – Condition DPS
I prefer full knight armor: toughness/precision/power.
I feel toughness is more useful than vitality, since we already have like 18K base health, though a few vitality trinkets won’t harm.
I have all sets; all have their purpose with specific specs. If you have the bag space, carry as many of them as you can as they can be swapped out for whatever activity you are doing.
If I started from scratch, I would pick 3-piece Knight + 3-piece Berserker.
I currently carry:
1. MF set with MF runes
2. Berserker set
3. Knight set
4. Cleric set
(I don’t use a condition DPS build very often)
Since dye sets can be customized and then saved to the specific armor piece, make one set blue, the next set red, the next set black, the next set yellow, etc. so you know what armor set you have equipped visually at any point in time.
i also prefer knight armor.power/preci/toughness give you a nice dfence but also good offence stats.going power/toughness/vit isnt bad but losing the precision, your crit rate will be really really low especialy if you put 0 in arms traits.
