I’d like advice on a Warrior build for WvW. (Race= Asura)

I do NOT like zerging.

Most of the time will be just me and 1 thief roaming around, or a small group (up to about.

I like to be able to do damage and take down opponents but want a balance with survivability and escapability.

Please advise on a complete build (skills, heals, utilities, weapons) for a solo, 2vs X or small group WvW

Also what gear stats should I use? Power? Crit Chance/Dam??

Here is what i use. Also furious is amazing. You can literally use your f1s off CD. Also since dual shot is 2 hits, if both of them crit your getting 6 strikes of adrenaline from one auto. My favorite part is the longbow auto hits twice, allowing twice the chance for on crit affects. I’ve gotten 10+ stacks of bleed and burn, all from just using LB.

Ill swap out zerker stance for endure pain based on whatever build ill be fighting
Runes are pretty important. We get 50% bleed duration from traits, 40% condi duration from food, and 10% condi duration from runes. In total, bleeds are 100% duration, and burns are 50% duration. Plus that fear from the x6 of nightmare always seems to off at the clutchest moments for me.

Many people think condi warr is somewhat odd, but they’ve never tried it. If your fear with conditions is that you won’t kill fast enough, or people will just shrug off your damage, let me throw you some of my experience roaming with conditions. When getting the jump on people, you can literally burst them down in seconds. Now you thought conditions were over time, not burst, how is this possible? Well with my setup, its extremely easy to get 3kdps from bleeds, and 1k burns, along with torment. That means most people will go down in 4-6 seconds. Combine that with the fact you have two immobilizes, tons of cripple, and people arent gonna be able to run away from you.
If things ever go wrong for you, for w/e reason(more enemies, you made a bad move) you have a very low cool down leap and block to get ooc with, as well as being able to immobilize them when they chase.
Camps will take ~15sec to down all the guards, and a fully upgraded camp will take ~30 sec. Thats also a huge thing for roamers, being able to solo camps.

Where do I get all that gear from? What should I use in the mean time that I can simply buy from the trading post?

You can get rabid armor from dungeons, karma, or the TP. I’d reccomend the TP, as each piece is only like 1.5gold (really really cheap for exotics). Just search “Galrath’s” in the search box. you can also buy dire weapons for fairly cheap. (like 3gold)As for the trinkets, you can get exotic rabid ones with karma, or ascended ones with laurels, fractals, and a mixture of WvW badges.
