Hello guys,

I’m new at the game and i was searching the web for some warrior builds but the metabattle website have some old informations.
My question is quite simple: It’s possoble to de a good dps dealer with GS and 2 axes?
And if possible, what are the best attributes for that?

Any suggestion will be considered.

As a melee warrior you are expected to build Might up quickly and share it with your party, while buffing power and crit chance with your banners. PS build might be “old” but it’s what most parties will expect you to run in PvE end-content like FotM and Raids.

If you like spinning for dealing damage (Axe off hand) I suggest to try Necromancer, Reaper specialization turns you into a Necrocopter but spinny axe offhand is awful DPS as a Warrior.

If you mean open-world PvE, anything works fine and it’s definitely possible to be a good DPS dealer with GS and Axe/Axe. Go full zerk with Strength runes + Sigil of Force, Accuracy, Air, Fire, etc. (maybe do some maths to optimize your damage).
Just be a little careful in HoT and LS3 maps where mobs hit hard and you need to be a little less lazy.
Also consider having a ranged swap, namely Longbow: it’s very useful for disengaging when things get tough and the AoE skills will help you deal with packs of mobs (actually, always start ranged and then melee with GS or Axe/Axe).

On the other hand, instanced content (Dungeons, Fractals, Raids, in order of difficulty) will require a much more focused build (same gear, though). Go with classic Phalanx Strength with EA and Banners, or check Fractals/Raids sections on Metabattle for other options.

Metabattle is actively moderated, so even if something looks old, it is viable. If it wasn’t, it wouldn’t be there.
