I love swords irl, so i wanne play with sword in gw2
But i dont like greatswords..
Is there any build that uses mainly 1 sword? not dual wield

i like sword/warhorn the most

EDIT: replaced Warrior’s Sprint with Mobile Strikes, since you’re running a warhorn and will have perma-swiftness.

I run a hybrid build sword\shield in spvp and do pretty good with it.
Mostly stunns and bleed damage. I keep LB on for any one.who tries and.kites me ill.post when i get the chance.

Yea unfortunately as far as weapons ar concerned sword on warriors just isn’t even close to top dps and the meta that’s in place today doesn’t allow for it in SC or Zerk groups. That being said in SPvP I run dual sword for the conditions and in some builds swords are used in your offset for the mobility. Offhand sword also has a place in soloing for the block.

The main problem with swords is that in order to maximize the damage you have to run a hybrid build and pure physical damage is just better then hybrid at the moment.

Sword/WH is a solid base for a defensive or support based war build. Be aware that it’s not really used in the high level tourny scene. That said, there’s a couple decent ways I think you could compliment it:

-hammer offset for a general tanky/cc support war.
-LB offset for a tanky condi war.
-Axe+X for a power build

Just some ideas to get you started.
