Q:

Hi there.

I was wondering if the new -Versatile Power- which grants 15% faster recharge on burst skill will have the possibility to stack with -Forceful greatsword, -Merciless hammer-, -Crack Shot-, -Sundering mace-, -Axe mastery- or -Blade master- which grants 20% faster recharge on their specific weapons skills.

Basically, I know that currently weapon skill recharge doesn’t affect burst skill recharge even if the weapon you use for it is the specific weapon you are traited with. But I was wondering if the decrease in burst skill recharge from discipline trait line would be compensated with the addition of a faster recharge while using specific weapon.

I don’t think so.

I also wouldn’t worry about this, because with max investment into discipline, right nwo you can get a ~7,75 sec recharge on your burst. That will become 8,5 sec with the 15% reduction in the new system, not much of a change.

I only state my opinion unless stated otherwise.

Yea I thought so, not a big impact for me. But still wanted to know (looking at the possibilies).

Basically I was analysing the situations where -Axe mastery- which generate additional adrenaline on crit while giving the 20% faster recharge (+150 passive ferocity) could be worth it, considering that it compete with the new -Berserker’s power-.

Gotta say I’ll be disappointed if you can’t get it back down to 7.75. Popping Flurry is fun with Burst Precision, and making it harder to do that (or do it as often) would be a let-down.

If the weapon-specific 20% recharge stacks, that would be interesting and I’d be tempted to take Blademaster where otherwise I had no interest in it.
