New video here, 11 minutes long footage of WvW roaming. Think this video shows the unpredictable spirit of WvW

Hope you enjoy watching the video, and yeah i made a few stupid mistakes against the warrior at the end of the video, i was being too sure of myself( kitteny) which results in me doing stupid stuff.

There are some pretty nice fights shown.

You probably do not have that much condi DMG – is torment worth it?

There are other uses for the sword offhand – a 2 1/4 second block every 15 seconds that doesn’t cancel when blocking ranged projectiles – for blocking ranged attacks(largely what you’re faced with in WvW), it’s can be a better option than a shield!

He also has mace mainhand – the 2 skill does much the same thing. If you slot the reflection trait, it’s even MORE fun :P You’ll feel like a Jedi.

Grrr, it still makes me mad about that thief near the start. You totally school him and his noob class but he gets a free escape.

I don’t use sword for torment, it is funny to see torment finish off a opponent on the run but yeah the dmg is very small as i don’t have condition dmg ^^
I use it for the low cooldown block, having two low cooldown blocks is amazingly amusing

Weirdly enough this never annoyed me, the most a thief has gotten out of me is just stealthing around me(i see the blind field) and doing so until i’m busy fighting someone else

Rip is nice I ripped my sword from a lvl 80 Mesmer for 6k crit was beautiful

I’m using mace MH in spvp and i’m pretty sure it cancels the block after 1 projectile,
is sword OH different in that regard or is that just pvp/wvw being handled differently?

I notice it sometimes only reflects once and stops, but it should work both in Spvp and WvW that it reflects until its castbar is done.(ofc if you get hit by melee it stops reflecting)

Also make sure you don’t spam the ability, just once, otherwise it starts and instantly ends it :P This is obvious but i’m just making sure haha.

The sword block is a much much longer channel block, so it is much better for reflecting projectiles than the mace block, but they work together even better
