Anyone can teach me how to LEAP away from enemy?

I mean I am using Savage Leap as an escape tool in WvW but I keep Leaping into enemy and make it even easier for them to kill me lol. Please help.

You have to have them target off in order to leap forward. I press ESC to do that and if anyone no any other shorter way of doing it instead of pressing ESC please post here I will truly appreciate it.

there’s also an option that automatically finds a target for your skill that you may need to disable.

turn off auto targetting, cancel all targets, leap where u want to leap!

Although it doesn’t work too well in WvW, you can target something off in the distance and leap towards it. Although if you have auto-target it does need to be a neutral/hostile target.
