Warrior Sigil and Rune Comparison
Yes – such a thread would be lovely indeed. As a starting warrior i am also currently looking into which rune to pick for my GS PvE dps build.
Ruby orbs and fire sigil.
Rubys are most stable DPS and ceap
Scholars beats Rubies if you are over 90% health
Ogre beats ruby if the dog ends up doing more then like 60DPS or something
Divinity gives you more “other” stats and is comparitive for DPS ( less then the other options) and are expensive
Worth considering 2monk-4 ruby or 2monk-2water-2 ruby for boon duration depending on your group make up. (If you have other sources of might like from other warriors they loose effectiveness)
Fire or Force for Sigil.
Fire does more AOE dmg
Force does more damage in timewarp.
Bloodlust and force sigil is best for weapons. But i prefer force.
Ruby orbs.
I kinda like accuracy, sometimes the difference between force and accuracy is not that big and the extra crit will proc more might stacks (if traited)
Scholar-runes are very powerful. But you have to ask yourself, how often are you above 90%? With 25% up-keep it’s about even with Ruby Orbs. If you think you can keep it up 50% then I would go with Scholar.
As far as I know, Sigil of Fire only really scales with Power, Precision affects hit-rate but internal cooldown dominates. I believe with high Precision and CritDamage, Sigil of Force will come out top (also increased damage on structures and doesn’t use internal cooldown).
Scholar I think is only worth it on Rifle/Longbow builds that plan to barely ever go melee. Its pretty decent for Support based warriors like banner ones, who sit in the back of zerg fights and just do aoe dps. Sigil of fire is strong with most weapons but there are certain ones, where others are far superior like sigil of impact for Hammer or sigil of force on Rifle (killshot and volley benefit so much from it that it outweighs fire in pure dps).
