These are the weapon skills I would use for Two-Handed Axe….
The trick to using this weapon is managing your endurance as well as your cool-downs.
Burst Execute (1-2-3 Channel, 10 second cooldown)
Execute your foes with a devastating attack. Effect increases with adrenaline level. You lose all endurance when you swing, must have full endurance to swing. You must hold your “burst key” each second until its full, then when you let go of the burst key you swing, this is a charged attack.
Damage Level 1 damage: 1,108 (3.0)?
Damage Level 2 damage: 1276 (3.5)?
Damage Level 3 damage: 1,444 (4.0)?
Range: 200
(This would be the highest single hit in the game, but very easy to avoid, it pretty much forces your enemy to dodge or die…)
1-1 Wild Swing (½)
Cleave your foes with a wild swing.
Damage: 443 (1.2)?
Range: 150
1-2 Double Swing (½)
Cleave your foe twice with a Double Swing.
Damage (2x): 538
Endurance lose: 5, cannot use with no Endurance.
Range: 150
1-3 Fierce Swing (½)
Cleave your foes a third time with a Fierce Swing, this attack hits all targets in front of you and has no AOE limit.
Damage: 658
Endurance lose: 10, cannot use with no Endurance.
Range: 150
2 Crippling Cleave (½, 8 second cooldown.)
Cleave your foes with a Crippling Cleave.
Damage: 658
Endurance lose: 15, cannot use with no Endurance.
Range: 150
3 Whirling Steel (½, 12 second cooldown.)
Damage (6x): 1,251
Combo Finisher: Whirl
Endurance lose: 20, cannot use with no Endurance.
Range: 150
Axehead Pull (½, 15 second cooldown.)
Axehead Pull your foes neck and and pull your foes to you.
Damage: 443
Endurance lose: 25, cannot use with no Endurance.
Range: 150
5 Cleaving Rush (2 , 20 second cooldown.)
Charge knocks down the targeted enemy and enemies in the path of the charging Warrior.
Damage: 628
Stability: 2
Endurance lose: 50, cannot use with no Endurance.
Range: 1,200

Posted these ideas before, I think a Greataxe would be about applying Vulnerability to foes and hitting hard
Adrenaline Skill: Decapitate, does high damage, each bar makes the damage increase from Vulnerability for this skill 1.33>1.66>2X more effective (so if the target has 10 Vulnerability, when this skill hits it’s like having 13>16>20 Vulnerability)
Auto-attack chain Penetrating Chop: Does damage and causes 1 Vulnerability for 6 seconds. Penentrating Blow, same damage and causes another stack of Vulnerability for 6 seconds. Agonizing Chop: does more damage then the other 2 previous skills, and applies 2 vulnerability for 6 seconds
Skill 2, Executioner’s Strike: High burst damage skill, 10 second cool down
Skill 3, Charging Strike: Leap at your foes (600 range), with a powerful swing, gain 3 Might for 5 seconds if you hit, 12 second cool down.
Skill 4, Rending Sweep: Swing your Greataxe 360 degrees, causing 5 Vulnerability for 8 seconds, and doing high damage. 20 second cool down
Skill 5, Power Attack: Swing your Greataxe as hard as you can, doing damage and knocking foes down for 1 second. 30 second cool down
Executioner’s Strike could maybe apply 3 stacks of Vulnerability like Ranger’s Maul, and Rending Sweep could be the big Vulnerability applier and do 10 stacks for 8 seconds
Edit: As for your ideas..making a weapon that eats Endurance like a kid eats candy is a horrible idea in a game where survivability is based mostly on dodging
I love it, it makes you think about using your attacks, they are quite powerful but you can’t just spam them and expect to win, and you rely on your team for buffs like vigor and other ways to keep your endurance up.
The problem with 2H Axe is that just about ever ability that would appear on it’s bar already exists (or there’s something very similar) on another weapon.
And yea, putting an Endurance cost into weapon abilities is just a stupid idea.

Why is that?
Why would you have a pull that only worked in melee range? Also definitely not every ability should cost endurance. This basically would pidgeonhole a Greataxe warrior into the defense traitline and have to run PVT gear.

Or mixed gear. You would have to rely on your teammates to help you. It would not be a good 1v1 weapon.
One of the skills could also be a “channel” ability like hundred blades, but instead of rooting you, you’re advincing slowly, cleaving your way forward ?
(Kinda like the spinning chain attacks used in the The Lost Bladesman, with the Guan Dao)
I seriously think a warrior with a greataxe should use the advantage of the two blades and the lenght of his weapon (no dirty jokes here) to wreack havoc, no ? Anyway, food for thoughts I guess
Powerful attacks that cost you endurance, but are just brutal.
1. Dual-wield greatswords.
2. Dual-wield shields.
3. Staff (the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle kind)

Whilst I like most these ideas I think that endurance cost would just kitten you. You wouldnt be much of a team player because you’d die half the time
I don’t think anyone would even consider picking greataxe with mechanic like that. Wild swing..wild swing..wildswing..o wait im out of endurance and i can’t attack so i will be standing like moron waiting to get killed

You realize that the weapon hits very hard, and spamming attacks mindlessly is why your losing endurance in the first place?
Its a team weapon that you cannot just spam. However it is very powerful.
It would be the kind of weapon you couldn’t really use alone, and everyone couldn’t just use it.
