Warrior dmg nerf in spvp ?
Our damage is comparable to a thief, we just have difficulty landing the hits as we have poor/buggy gap closers and can’t stealth in and out of combat.

Frenzy lowered how fast you can do damage, damage seems to be harder to produce you’re right.
I still don’t understand why warrior doesn’t have 1 skill to pull an enemy in when the issue is so blatant. Even thief has it, and with all those shadow steps they don’t even need scorpion wire most of the time.
I reckon if they changed kick, and made it “Pull”, so that it pulled an enemy in with a relative cool down, more warriors would be able to kill something.
Yes the damage is comparable. The numbers that pop up when you land your burst are very similar. Damage numbers in the context of buffing said numbers does not solve the larger problem of our ability to LAND said damage. Saying we deal less damage because we MISS isn’t the fault of our baseline damage…. Damage.

You are right, warrior sustained damage in sPVP is quite low as you go into higher ranked ladder matches. Once players learn to kite, dodge, and use mobility skills to escape, it’s nearly impossible to get a hit on them in melee.
However, warriors are one of the highest damage classes when it comes to stationary or immobile targets (i.e., PVE enemies/bosses and most of the up-leveled new/PVE players running around WvW). There’s an unfortunate compromise between damage and mobility that Anet has enforced on warriors.
