I am a level 80, warrior, charr. I finally decided to try doing dungeons and well… my first one was the level 78 dungeon Crucuble of Eternity.

Things did not go well at all. I kept dying over and over. I feel like I was squishy and I was hardly doing any damage to the mobs at all. I tried throwing banners down, and that didn’t seem to do much at all, and I tried switching to an all signet build. No real difference. As for the armor I am using, I am using all rampager gear and weapons. I figured that by stacking on power, it would at least help me do more damage. I didn’t really notice much of a difference at all. I feel like I am doing SOMETHING wrong here, but I just can’t figure out what it is on my own.

Oh and having everyone focus on one target when facing multiple trashmobs didn’t really help at all because, while we were focusing on DPSing down that one target, the rest would just attack us and kill us. Then whenever I tried to rez someone, I would get picked off and killed. It eventually became easier just to die and just walk back from the waypoint.

Can you just tell me what gear I should be using for dungeons, cause I can’t figure this out on my own.

You sure know how to pick ‘em, mate. CoE is often considered one of the more annoying dungeons in the game. You really need people that know their stuff in there. Set your sights a bit lower. I’d recommend Ascalonian Catacombs Exploration, with a group of people that know what they’re doing and are willing to explain the mechanics of the different encounters.

I can do thirty Five-Dolyak Arm Curls.

Do you even lift, bro?
