It seems Anet has called target on Warriors now to begin the nerfing process. I’m sure more will come. But anyway even for now I think Mesmers are now more op then warriors. Just thinking about everyone can now switch traits OOC. Meaning they can have the perfect build for every situation and dungeon mid way. Warriors usually only roll 30/25/0/0/15 for everything. And that will get more and more nerfed as time goes on. I don’t know a whole lot about mesmers but can someone shed some light if I should be switching my main?

You shouldn’t worry. Warrior is the devs’ favorite class. Even if it’s nerfed it will still be the overall best class.

This is nothing. I remember the last time warrior got “nerfed” and posts like these were everywhere. I walked into wvw and I swear they got buffed.

As long as healing signet is decent and as long as the warrior has powerful mobility, I expect to see lots of warriors since it’s like thief for new players.

You should stick with warrior if you’re running dungeons, as a mesmer really hits like wet tissue without their phantasms. At least a warrior is completely self-reliant for damage instead of things that tend to get swatted and in the case of the Warden, bug out.

Have you been to the Guardian section of the forums? People are rerolling for warrior as we speak, I’m doing it too. I’ve been told it’s actually FUN to play warrior, and since playing guardian has turned into a chore, I’ll be rerolling for a cute little asura warrior. I’ve learned that there’s no reason to play a class that none of the devs understand, or even play as and literally believe “are in a good spot” when the entire community is screaming “NO”. I heard that on one of there latest livestreams, I instantly made my new warrior after that. Been playing this game long enough to learn that nothing good will come by just waitin’ for the devs to fix your class.

Cannot imagine a Warrior jumping in a mob of 20+ players eating up all the conditions being thrown at him and still come out with half a life. On top of that, he stopped for a while in the middle of the battle with his tome for a few seconds. Look it up and see if your game play as Guardian is as good as he was. Maybe the devs are right. Showing a video with an organized group roflstomping a zerg of disorganized, underlevelled/undergeared newbies is not generally the most convincing argument.
I’m sure I could compile videos of all the times I crushed someone horribly on my 30/10/0/0/30 arcane/conjure zerker staff ele, but that by no stretch of the imagination makes that build powerful.

If you read the youtube comments, it is used as a guardian guide. If you can post a outnumbered 8vs20+ video using an elementalist then that would be awesome. Also please post it to the elementalist forum so other elementalists can learn from them. We’ll be waiting. Not unless you are just bluffing hmmmmm?

My thing is, Warriors have the attention of Anet now thanks to all the complaining of scrubs in WvW who think they can go up to a warrior and go toe to toe. Thus Anet is going to keep rolling out the nerfs

They won’t, don’t let the nerfs fool you warrior is still the devs favorite class and the Signet passive nerf really was needed I just wish they would do something with its terribad active.

People failing on guardians can’t play and roll warrior because the initial skillcap for warrior is lower than for a guardian. Guardian is in a perfect spot, they are really strong for roaming, often used for speedruns in dungeons and are still the best class for commanding as a full tank guardian does not die. They really are tankier than warriors. They can go high DPS or fully specced into group support. I don’t see anything (asside from spirit weapons) that I would change on a guardian.

Got to admit that good guardian roamers are rare, but the ones out there are utter beasts killing pretty much everything.

if you think warrior is anets pet class you obviously have no idea what you are talking about and havent been playing gw2 for very long. Warriors suffered from being incredible TERRIBAD for the first half of the games life. it wasnt until they finally got the healing signet buff that they became useful by themselves. then the great migration of bads came and whined the warrior into a hole. Frankly I want the old warrior back not this new “pet” warrior that hits like a wet noodle compared to what you could do before…

so what the op is trying to say is : “the overpowered class i have been playing seems to be targeted by nerfs and i am afraid it might get even more nerfs..so my reaction to that is rolling what i think is the 2nd most overpowered class,the mezmers. Anyone has any guide lines on that?” ?
