Guild Wars 2

So I started as a mesmer first and got that to 59 before I stopped and created an ele. I’ve gotten her to 65 and im now thinking of making a warrior. I don’t care much about starting over since I enjoy leveling for some reason but I just want a profession that can become my main and I can use for the things I want. Like I want to do dungeons and WvW. I’ve never really did pvp in any game. I like being the DPS for the group or support but I dislike when people depend on me. I guess I’m not a hardcore gamer but I don’t want to be a complete noob either. Just having trouble deciding what my main should be. Any suggestions?

Roll Warrior. They’re pretty big now and they’re getting a shout buff coming up here in about another week that’ll make them even more supportive

As an ele main who has played all the classes and has had this game for a long time you are going to want to roll warrior.

Why am I able to go from WvW>Fractals>World Bosses>Dungeons>S/Tpvp, with the same build(0/10/30/0/30 H/LB) and still do well in all of them?

once you survive it? idk bout that. but u can try. This is just an amazing example of what you can really do with an ele compared to a warrior

Banners are good team-support
Good self-buff abilities and thus good damage even in PUGs
Because of this welcomed in most PUGs
Most coordinated teams want to have one for the Banners
Easy to play
-
The more coordinated the team is the less important the self-buff abilities become; damage becomes slightly subpar to most professions
Thus Coordinated teams want to have only one

Ele
+
Good support via Might stacks and possibly Fury
Good damage
-
Easy to screw up
Depends more on the help of teammate to reach full potential
Thus not as liked in PUGs as Warriors

Yep(never said I did lv49 fractals btw). Typically I only get 4-5 hours playtime a day, and with all the “time gating”(1laurel a day, 1relic a day=3hours) my broke self can’t afford multiple sets of exotic(or even rare ARMOR let alone rings/trinkets) so with full PVT Karma armor and the rest Zerker it honestly does fairly well for how cheap it was. This way my atrocity of a warrior can grind out mats and gold for whenever I find the time to finally get another 80.

he’s talking about the trait spread being trash, not the gear… if you spent 3s50c on respeccing before dungeons into a proper 30/0/0/10/30 build you would do much better at dps and offensive support

beatch please, you are not stunning them world bosses dungeon bosses fotm bosses, you are doing crap damage and you are holding the team down. go troll else where
