This is based on my opinion, I have a warror charr and an asura engineer, having a tough time deciding, what class would you guys pick?
Warrior Charr:
Cons:
-Dull and plain skills which makes PVE a bit boring for me
-As a charr some of the armour looks funny but most of them looks pretty cool
Pros
-Straight forward and easy
-Heavy armour can look amazing compared to other type of armors which gives me motivation to keep leveling
-Weapons looks great compared to other professions
Engineer:
Cons:
-Some armour is pretty decent looking (COF/dungeon armours mostly) but some of it looks unattractive compared to heavy armour(Crafted armous/loot/etc)
-Asuras are small making them less noticable, people will most likely ignore you (let’s say you got a legendary on an Asura) they can look “adorable” though.
-No motivation to craft a lot/get gear besides a few couple of them, in a nutshell not the best armour.
-Engineer is a harder class to use which makes it chalenging which I like, but some people might hate it.
Pros:
-EXPLOTIONS EVERYWHERE, cool animations,etc. Love playing the engineer due to their skills
-Fun class to use skill wise, which kept me up playing the engi but at one point I stopped and created a warrior due to it being more “cool” gear wise.
-Challenging which I like (tool kits/etc)
-Small in PVP, less likely to be targeted first
I have a level 25 Warrior and a level 20 engineer, currently having a tough time which one to focus on to level 80. What class would you guys pick?

Asura’s are ugly to begin with lol. They are just better when it comes to pvp as their animations are less obvious. #pancy

Charr looks great, go with that.

And remake your engie.

If the look of your character is important to you go with any race besides asura (regardless of class choice, if you choose engineer I’d strongly suggest you re roll your engineer).

A lot of the armor customizations become trivial during a lot of content when your not always zoomed in. You can make your asuras quite large but imo that kind of ruins the race.

True, but if you compare to other races especialy charr they dont look “good” in medium armour too. I find asuras fine and have no realy big deal with them

Engi, you won’t regret

warrior, you will eventually be let down by it’s poorly designed mechanics.

One of my 6 chars is a charr warrior. Yes in pve its sometimes boring but on easy content thats always rhe case. I love my armor and how my newly crafted sunrise swings. I dont think you will regret rolling a warrior. My only complain is about pvp but i have other chars for that. If you still want a challenge and like EXPLOSIONS go for engi but reroll a new race. Female human and norns look great in medium armor!

If you are looking for PvE content with Warrior you will be almost a god there, it was more before but Warriors will always be wanted because of the offencive support it can bring. The DPS is kinda of in the midle of all classes so ppl will also not borther having more than one in pug groups. DPS wise I think Engi can have more not sure, but in support which is where I belive most PvE metas are around with the DPS in the mix too (for example the Guardian meta most used is not the top DPS but its the one with the best DPS and the best support) Engi will lose I think. Again I’m not familiar with Engi and most I enconter in PvE don’t run metas because ppl tht don’t look it up don’t even care.

In PvP if you learn the rotation and dominate them you will pretty much be able to carry a lot of the PvP games you get into. Engi dominate the PvP atm, Engi and Ele are both the dominaters of PvP right now but Engi does it better, much better IMO. Cele, condi or even Turret cancer, any of those will excell in PvP if played right. A good Engi is basicly a pain in a match, gets you really frustated.

Warrior in PvP is fine. It was much better before the Adrenaline changes but now I think it balanced. Shoutbow now dominates the class and most ppl run with that but I all encounter a lot of Hambow still. Beside this 2 you still have more options, Condi is all really good too but there are classes like Engi for example that do this role better. It takes less time to dominate the Warrior class in PvP IMO as of the 3 titles I have (Warrior, Guardian and Thief) this was the one that took less time and effort. There are also other great builds beside those too like GS if played well, Bunker (the sustain of the Cleric banner bunker Warrior is much higher than the Guardian for example but the condi clear is less and party support is almost none) or even the Axe/SwBow.

In terms of race and look, I love the Asura as a race, it’s not my main and I regret it a lot, my Warrior is a Human and Armors on Human look just great, almost anything Heavy Armor look good depending of taste on Warrior. I use T3 Cultural and so far it’s my favourite cultural armor from all. Because It was already 80 I didn’t reroll Asura Warrior but I kinda want too still, the animations look funny, Asura personal story is still one of the best IMO (I already did all the options more than once so you can see I had a lot of experiments in term of characters and most were Asura, yet none of the ones I really sticked is Asura ). Personal opinion I like the Asura and would stay with it for the Engi. Charr for Warrior IMO only gets the T3 Cultural has a really cool armor so I don’t like the charr much, and most GS look weird on their backs, this goes for rifles too so don’t think of making Charr Engi. My Engi that I rarely use in PvP is Charr and I regret it.

It’s about you, I think we can’t help you much with your choices beside giving our feedback with such classes/race so that is what I did. If at the end it comes to a matter of looks the best race will be Human off all. It’s the easiest to get good looks and also the one with more options IMO.
