Warrior weapons
Forget about it at this level, care about your gear at level 80.
What should I use out of the following above?
Both, you know that you can switch weapons in the middle of the fight?
Currently playing Heart of Thorns.
Undoubtedly there are “best” weapon combinations, as in producing the biggest damage etc., but TBH you should get one of each weapon you can use and play with them all to see what works best for YOU – the math doesn’t tell the whole tale. And I’m not just repeating the ‘party line’ here – your play-style really makes a big difference in what weapons (and thus skills) you should pick.
Me, I’ve stuck with rifle and axe/axe – the rifle is great if you like some control over and distance to the fight, and axe/axe is just easy to play and looks great. For instances you might want to focus on mace/shield and long-bow, as the warrior is a lot more squishy than some people coming from other MMO’s seem to think.
When you say axe/axe, do you mean dual wielding two axes?

Yes.
Do I need to learn a skill specially for this?
Do I need to learn a skill specially for this?
for what? axe/axe?
It purely depend on your play style really, most axe players tend to be DPS and use skills and traits that compliment this style of gameplay.
I would suggest experimenting with what weapons feel the best to you and mold your style around that.
For instance I was level 30 before I settled on Mace/Shield, and I am still tweaking my style as I play.
I have a level 20 and am always switching weapons around depending on what the newest, highest level weapon I come across. The stereotype is greatsword and rifle, and for good reason because it has decent mobility, very high damage, and lots of survivability (switch to range if things get hot). I’ll still swap to axe/axe because it is just plain fun and the auto attack is amazing, plus offhand axe’s whirlwind is great for tagging large groups of enemies to get credit for all the kills during events. Also with axe offhand, you can dodge while whirlwinding and not take damage, it does not interrupt your spinning death machine.
I still use axe/warhorn sometimes when I want to sprint and feel like a skirmisher vs lesser armored or more mobile enemies who want to run from you or use ranged, but if you are using banner of defense, you can use it’s sprint ability right before you set it down for a fight and replace your odd hand with a mace for an AoE knockdown.
Basically use whatever your best upgrade is at the time, all of warrior’s weapons do great damage.
I think what we’re saying is: experiment !
Again, get each of the weapons and try them all to see what works for you, it’s a big part of the fun of a(nother) low level character. You don’t need to buy them either, just use what you find, get comfortable with each weapon / set of skills, and try the next one when it drops. I needed about 30 levels on each of characters before I settled on favorites.
