So I’ve been sticking to Warrior since I started playing GW2, which isn’t too long ago compared to some other players. However I’ve been PVPing hardcore every since I pretty much started GW2 and I’d think that I’ve got Warrior down pretty well. I’m just making this post to state my opinion on the new Warrior- it’s great! Yeah sure it isn’t what everyone hoped for but there certainly is a huge difference in survivability compared to pre-patch, which is a big part of what we needed. I’ve been PVPing almost everyday ever since the new Patch- and even though one might say “oh it’s Unranked everyone’s dudu”- with the new build I figured, my Warrior wrecks 1v1s and 1v2s. Just recently, I’ve had THIEVES (who got the most love in the new Patch), NECROS (who are mostly kitten due to the new Patch) and even the OP MESMERS call WARRIOR broken haha. Isn’t it funny? Someone calling Warrior broken. I returned to Core Warrior after the Patch and am satisfied with what I’ve seen so far.
Warriors is one of the only Professions where your build doesn’t carry you so find one you like and develop it; because I think Warriors will be back in the big game soon

Eles in unranked are booring. Most ele players don´t want to play cleric healer …
The classes power comes in premade teams.
If Anet wanted to shape up the meta, this would be the way to do it. There are just so many great builds for warrior its hard to imagine choosing one for the meta. It will probably be the Zerkbow (burnbow) but there are so many other good ones that even with that i’m hard pressed to choose one. Every class needs something like this. imagine all the team comps that you could make with just by changing everything to be based around the warrior. Now if every class had just as many quality builds, you could seriously have some interesting teams.
Hopefully in Season 3 Warrior will make his stance. Most Ranked Warriors run a Condi build which I personally don’t like (doesn’t match my gameplay).
I just wish they paid more attention to Shouts and Banners cuz I quite like Shotbow Warrior. Imagine that + a Tempest/Druid…
