Hey, I think warriors need a buff because when I cast the second sword ability I stand still and I can’t move and people easily run out of it. And we also do not have any blocks and when people hit me I die really fast, and this is supposed to be plate? I feel like a paper towel, stupid warriors. In WoW I could play warrior and hit really hard and block left and right, but here I’m left with a stupid ability that immobilizes me, yeah, just what I need vs elementalists.

Thats the problem with Wow fanboys they use gears to play. My friend here in GW you use skills to play! So play Gw stlye!

If you prefer defending and prioritize survivability, I’d suggest going for a Guardian. If not, start practicing your evasion. This isn’t a blind button mashing fest. You need to pay attention not only to WHAT kind of attack is coming, but WHERE it’s coming from as well.

I actually find the warrior has a pretty powerful burst for structured pvp. If I use a dual axe build and spec for crits, I can usually drop a player in a matter of seconds (assuming I can use Berserk). Survivability is an issue at times and so is fighting 2 or 3 players at a time but its not that underpowered.

A good player can see/expect an eviscerate coming and dodge at the right moment, thus neutralizing the main part of the dmg, but this is part of the game mechanic and to be expected.

Id either say troll, or just an insanely bad player.

Please. 5 Signet build barely has 50% Crit at level 50 and it goes down from there, unless they gear strictly for Precision, which makes them a wet noodle wrapped in tissue paper with a single dangerous ability, hundreds of ways to avoid it, and the ability to do absolutely nothing else.

Warriors are not a broken class and 5 Signet GS Warriors certainly don’t prove they are.

Who cares if you crit, it matters howmuch your crits land for. I dont care if you have 100% crit chance and crit 1,5k for each greatsword swing, I will crit 2,5k with 75% chance to crit. (Numbers are made up just to make the point)

1h Sword has a ton of mobility, what with your leap, and the bleeds are pretty great. Have you tried that? If not, I’d give it a shot. You might like it better.

i know what you mean and its hard for you but here is the thing people dont get about warrior in pvp is that they dont know how to play it good now am not top warrior in game
but i also stopped using my ability’s at full duration.

for example when your using the Hundred blade ability dont use all of it the enemy well usually run away so instantly use Whirlwind attack forword against him and slow him with Bladetrail and then switch to Bow and use Combustive shot along with Pin down ability to Immobilize him afterwords use arcing arrow and his yours

this compo works for me not sure if other players have tried this before or not but its imba:D

also Always dodge dodge dodge because we are used to our previous mmo games for too long and this game is almost 1month old its normal that we dont use dodge much.

focus your attacks and you well do good.

I ONLY got serious problem to defeat guardian and some mesmers (most of them was like paper lol)
I still thinking warrior need “that something” I just do not know what it is lol
So, underpowered? I do not think so, its ok… but theres nothing special about warrior that you cant do with another class I think. That’s why I think it lack of “something” lol

Warriors are very strong, and require a decent amount of skill to use. No changes pl0x. Good weapon management plus good evasion skills make warriors easily one of the best classes.
