Warriors fight for your class
The lure for many people initially with GS is hundred blades shiny damage numbers. But the real use of GS is primarily the movement provided by Rush, and the evade + movement of whirl. Hundred blades is something you capitalize on if you notice someone making a mistake, and not something you can/should use every time it’s off cooldown.

Well if you warriors think it is ok then ok. I only wated to say my opinion :-) One viable build does not seem enough to me. That is all i wanted to say :-)

Probably that using food that reduces condi dura+stats that aren’t obtainable in spvp makes warr ok against bad wubwub players.

I think he wated to show me that warrior is not that bad as i say in my post. But the video is from WvW and i was talking abou S and Tpvp. And that is quite different. I thougt it is obvious what i mean if say ,,I am testing class in PVP" :-)
But nice roaming build anyway. But still would be nice to see real success ability of that build. Not only fights where it wins but also where is lose :-) This will learn sometimes more than only videos of wins.
Everyone knows that war is the best class to kill noobs/new players. I haven’t seen a single good person in this vid.

1:35: Squishiest warrior ever. Maybe undergeared. Not even popping his SoR although he seems to start the fight. -.-
1:46: Thief doesnt even know what he is doing.
2:22: Necro already running. Surprised by a roamer. Low level thief is trying to help out but lacks of everything.
2:54: Little ranger harvesting in the woods surprised by a roamer. Again.
3:55: The ranger trys to disengage with poor luck. Suddenly wild guarding appears. But he is just walking into 100b, standing still, waiting for death. Like a boss.
4:38: You can almost smell the fear of that thief by seeing an enemy. He doesnt know what to do. He didnt want to fight at all.
4:52: Random thief without any stealth, evades, shadowsteps.
5:43: Finishing off an almost dead guy struggeling with a sentry. But getting the “WOW O.o” by some random asura exposed. Pathetic!
6:48: Fighting a guard for a little longer. Warrior is at the advantage but falls off the cliff by accident. No Problem. Clever guard dont want to take the chance to reg life. NO! Just go straight in fight again and die like a boss. Reminds me of Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels… in “Dumb and Dumber”.
7:08: Guard without Def and Damage (Remember, the warrior in the vid uses full zerker gear. 2.5k Def and he gets no damage.). Good job.
7:40: Again a squishy guard already struggling with a sentry. But just look at what he is doing at 7:40 (at 50% life). He is like: “Omg… This warrior is trying to 100b me from that range? I should help poor little warrior out and take a step closer.” Thanks brain-afk!
The end: “never give up”…. when you have a 2v1… at your advantage.
Moreover, almost none of the victims he fought used nurishment.
And so on and so forth… I bet I missed some more.

Id like to see a video of him facing one half-competent player who knows when to push and when to disengage. This warrior might be a good one but the video is just crap. At least in my opinion.

LOL I used to think Avlis was great in his vids, then I rewatched that vid with everything you said in mind… And it is all true…. Talk about rose tinted glasses…
Wow, I can’t believe I thought that vid meant anything other than some players are really dumb.
My Fav is the guardian walking into his 100b at the end as assistance.

Unfortunately, this is the horrible reality about people and their Youtube videos. They slap together the best highlights of them succeeding in fights and edit out the parts where they’re stomped ten seconds after by someone else or even down the road by the same person.
I personally started to play warrior in pvp, and i’m actually surprised that they can do well. I don’t run the usual greatsword or hammer though. Axe/shield (normal) and mace/sword. The 2nd setup gives you a LOT of block against ranged attacks (because it doesn’t cancel on a ranged attack) while punishes melee setups. Combined with 2 interrupts and a third on the first setup, possible more in the utilities and
Surprise surprise rampage works nice in defending/capturing a shrine so long the enemy doesn’t use stability.

Its not about just being kitteny though, its about entertainment. Unlike OP, a lot of people don’t want to see failure and it wouldn’t fit the atmosphere or music of the video in most cases unless a commentary outlining their play.
Generally its kept out of videos for entertainment’s integrity than anything.

Most of the time people just flaunt these sorts of videos to stroke their ego anyway. I see enough of that from people just playing the game, why would I want to watch it in a video? lol
I’m not willing to fight for a class that doesn’t even know what it wants to be itself.
