Hey,

I’m running a really support-ish build for my warrior, meaning I run with a full Cleric Drac set, Cleric Pearl Weapons and Sapphire Cleric jewelery set together with the Monk runes for extra boon duration.

I run with a Banner of Discipline, Banner of Tactics, “For Great Justice!” and a Warhorn in my offhand (replaces condition for a random boon)

The main problem I have is that my ideal rotation (keeping 6 stacks of might, fury, swiftness and vigor up 99-100% of the time), leaves me with about 4 second window in which I have absolutely nothing to contribute to my group, as I’m usually too far away from the boss to smack him a few times with my mace, as doing so would break by banner rotation, thus dropping the fury buff.

I’m not sure if I’m not supposed to do this at all, as we’re apparently supposed to multitask in this game, but I wouldn’t mind using a pistol in my main hand with a low duration weakness on my 1.

If you are going through the trouble to pick up your banner, you should be blasting combo fields with its #5 ability. Try using longbow in melee range. Drop and plant (#5) your banners in its fire field You’ll be pushing out much way more than 6 stacks of might that way.

Blast boons and shouts have small ranges, and groups tend to spread out. You are more likely to be in range of others if you are in the center of things.

It would be nice to run with a warhorn as a ranged build.

pistol mainhand only would be amazing

It’s funny; I was pondering this very thing this afternoon. I would love to be able to run pistol + warhorn in a PvE ranged DPS + group support build.

Pistol + Warhorn sounds kinda fun actually.

I sort of feel like a thrown melee weapon would be more fitting to a warrior than a pistol imo.

The only problem is warriors already have axes, so they couldn’t do a thrown axes set… and thrown daggers would be more of a thief thing.

I’d love to see a spear/javelin set (not underwater)

Warriors don’t need a 1h ranged weapon, one would be nice but as it stands there are other classes that need a lot more love than Warrior.

After the development of firearms; pistols quickly became a popular secondary weapon for real life heavily-armoured warriors. Pistols suit Warrior just fine.

I personally would like pistol for my off-hand, i like the look of sword/pistol, commissar mode. I realize something like this is wishful thinking and all the weapons currently in-game are set specifically to have synergy with the other, and I’d like to think further down the game line they intend to incorporate more weapons eventually. I also know the argument has been made that the warrior is a “weapon master” and should be able to use all weapons, and agree with this to the extent to excluding magic based weapons (scepter, focus, maybe staff). Again in the end, after all the little bugs/exploits/hacked account issues get resolved, i cant wait to see what more content they have in store for us, new weapon types would be amazing.
