Guild Wars 2

I’m a level 80 warrior that spends most of my time in WvW since I’m part of a very active WvW guild. The weapons I use are rifle and hammer. Rifle for long range and hammer for hitting multiple targets short range which is useful when you’re up against an enemy zerg. I usually do not leave the group so 1v1 is a rare occurrence.

Ironically enough, I am going Riffle/Hammer also. Please, take my advice lightly because I play lightly, I am by no means a hardcore guy decked out with amazing armor. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Valkyrie#Triple_attribute will tell you specifically what types of armor give you what stats. Choose what works for you, but don’t load up on one stat too much.

I have a build of 0/20/20/30/0 using healing shouts. Another good build idea is 0/20/30/20/0 getting retaliation on CD. Read all the different builds in the stickyed post

As for armor, its all up to you, but what would really be useful is possibly knights/clerics gear or something similar. Basically, having toughness and a good amount of healing for when you need to heal is useful. Also of note, banners use 100% of +healing power while shouts use 80% but are more versatile (like curing a condition, healing when you need to)

as for specifics and min/max, someone else will have to go into depth.

I’d like to just make a correction that banner’s only use ~10% of healing power. If it was 100% my banner would be doing about 800 a tick where as they only do about 220-225. All my healing power comes from a full Cleric’s (rare) jewelery set, and when I have it equipped my Pact Shield (rare)
