warrior’s hammer longbow is good in sPvP due to conquest mode being the only game mode we have at the moment.

with longbow, you can cover the capture point (except for graveyard in legacy of foefire) with longbow burst skill combustion shot, creating a fire field, drop an arcing arrow for 3 stacks of area might via blast finisher, swap to hammer for another blast finisher via hammer burst skill earthshaker for another 3 stacks of area might.

longbow offers suppression and condition damage
hammer offers crowd control

Long bow is currently the best pvp weapon a warrior has as paired with cleansing ire can cleans up to 3 conditions if your adrenaline bar is full regardless if you hit anything or not. Not only that but as Deimos stated, it creates a large fire field for burning and to combo blast finishers in for area might. The hammer is mainly a crowd control weapon that also, due to strength runes can supply sufficent damage.

high damage, high survival, loads of condi clears, lots of might stacking, easy to play.
before turret engi was buffed Hambow had the highest skill:effectiveness ratio imho.
low skill requirement, high reward.
