Guild Wars 2

I decided to make a charr warrior, mostly because I thought they visually looked really cool. So far I have found it to be really boring to play. Any suggestions on weapon builds that are fun? I almost exclusively play PvE, although I’m not apposed to the idea of dabbling in PvP/WvW.

If you consider autoattack akitteng fun Longbow with Soldier Armor and 0/10/30/30/0 trait distribution is the way to go for you.

If you consider killing stuff fast fun builds like the axe/mace or axe/mace+GS with trait distributions of either 30/0/0/10/30 or 30/25/0/0/15 are best to achieve that. However the latter will force you to put some effort into actually keeping an eye on what is happening and how to not get killed by it.

It really depends on what sort of fun you are after. Flashy skills (Ele ) , extreme maneuverability (Thief ), massive survivability and utility (guardian ), super trickery (mesmer) ….. etc.

About warrior, the most outstanding point would be single target damage, which is by far the highest in the game. So, get your berserker gears and enjoy the pleasure of being able to one shot anything that is not tank (or being one shoted )

warrior doesn’t have the highest damage in the game by far… thieves and eles already exceed their damage by a good amount, and guardians have somewhat higher sustained damage.

and warrior damage isn’t single-target at all (if you want ST dps you want thief)

Are u telling me that thief and ele can hit 40 k in 3 sec ? or 18k in 1 click ? In that case, yeah warrior is UP and need a buff soon.

it would be nice if you actually knew what you were talking about. go look up some youtube videos of eles and thieves being used in dungeons.

edit: also, your mention of hundred blades seems to show that you’re a “big numbers” type. I think you should understand what DPS truly is, and that hb isn’t excellent DPS in spite of the attractive big number
