Atm my warrior is mainly used as wvw front line melee train so I have had to hop on the bandwagon and use durability runes (it’s the meta!!!) But for roaming I find it subpar to what I use to run (str/pack)

What do you guys use as either small scale or solo roaming wvw or even pvp rune sets?

Durability is a strong choice in WvW. You’ll be like a demigod if you pair it with ascended Marauder’s gear.

scholar if running berserker. you will have tons of adrenal health or u will be a glass cannon burst build.

strength if vanilla. u willl be running forceful gs. focus on might stacks and duration.

wouldnt do *hoelbrak. strength just more effective. have tried both for long period of time.

assuming both builds u run a gs…u have to with a power build.

I like souging but don´t have one in WvW. I use this one often in PvP.
Durability is very good if you add it to zerk or marauder for a splash of defence and good boon duration. Propably the best rune available but not always fitting.
Pack rune is one of the best for offensive play. I currently use it on my power warrior.
Hoelbrak or strengh are both OK. Strength is better for damage especially if you use the same setup PvE. Hoelbrak combind with – condi dur food makes warr even more condi resistant …

I got two ascended marauder sets one with durability and the other with scrapper runes which I use for my berserker.

I like scrapper runes more since I run boon duration on both oil and food and more damage reduction on food. makes fights against fellow warriors and scrappers easier

Power GS, Mace/Shield marauder/berserker mix with DEFENDER runes and a sigil of draining on the mace is way too much fun for me in WvW roaming

Hoelbrak, although you’d be better off with strength alot of times, i just have a love for hoelbrak

I’ve been running Defender runes quite a lot and the 4k heal on block is pretty dam good. It mitigates Healing signets only weakness which is burst damage. For weps I usually go GS / Axe+sh
