To maximize dps on greatsword? I’m pretty much considering air, strength, and force at this point – any tips?

We must first establish the scenario in which you wish to use the sigil for. So, after having read what you’ve wrote and having not seen the situation in which you wish to use it for, I’d like for you to enlighten us; so it will be easier to suggest what sigil to use.

Generic choices – sigil of bloodlust /fire/ blood/ rage.

i use sigil of accuracy

in PvE i like the sigil of speed, nothing quite like have 3 minutes of swiftness

for WvW sigil of accuracy, force, fire or air is pretty good.

for sigil of force if you take the greatsword trait [slashing power] and [berserkers power] the minor trait [attack of opportunity] and have a full adrenaline bar, then you have an extra 37% attack damage with the greatsword. and 20 trait points extra to spend on whatever you like.

It’s really between Sigil of Fire and Force in my opinion.
Both do about the same amount of damage in normal situations to single target (with force being slightly higher).

at 4+ mobs fire is defiantly better

During Quickness (frenzy, timewarp, Last chance) Force is defiantly better.

Just for cof runs, so force it is?

force is probably the way to go, it’s also like 4 gold cheaper

In s/tPvP it’s definitely Fire.

But it was too expensive for me outside the mists so I couldn’t tell ya how it compares in PvE and WvW lol
