What would you replace Great sword adrenal with?
In beta, the GS F1 gave might, which was fantastic. Now I pretty much never use it. I have the same trait you do, that gives +12% damage for a full bar, and I just keep running with that until I swap to my longbow, then blow the adrenalin on a much better skill.

Blast combo sounds good, but part of me wants more utility on the warrior instead of just more damage bursts.

You can even keep the uppercut animation and have it cause an air vacuum style slash that travels across the ground, cough RurouniKenshin cough.
Edit: Could drop the damage and add stacks of might to the line as well. But, shrug. I think that is optional / superfluous.

For the greatsword I think there are several things that would be cool:
I like easymodes idea bout it possibly removing boons but not the rest. Line attacks are usually terrible and we already have WW as an aoe which is actually really good. I think some sort of soft haste but for a longer period like say 25% haste for 10-15 seconds would be really cool and synergizes really well with our burst weapon. It would make burning your adrenaline not only viable but very attractive. I would also accept a gap closer like heartseeker and eviserate as well to stay on target with a good dps kick in there too. Make it our finisher because right now 100 blades isn’t usuable outside of frenzy and I’d rather not be dependent on frenzy at all.

Decent damage skill for PvE, right between stage 2 Kill Shot and stage 2 Eviscerate. Good PvP utility as well. Great set up skill for HB too.
Barbarous Slice:
Damage: 500
Stage 1: Add 2 stacks of Vulnerability to your target
Stage 2: Add 5 stacks of Vulnerability to your target
Stage 3: Add 8 stacks fo Vulnerability to your target.
Since we’re talking about adrenal skills here, I’d like to see the Mace on hit up to 3 foes like a normal attack and the Bleed on Flurry last longer

I’d just add Swiftness to it as well, same duration as the Fury. Sure it still conflicts with Signet of Rage… but you don’t always have the boons from Rage up. Kinda fits with the mobility (except when dealing damage) theme on the Greatsword.
I don’t like re-adding Might onto it, because I thought that was useless in Beta as well. Was always better to save the Adrenaline.

Ideas:
-Quickness, 1 sec for each bar.
-Pull (we really need a pull).
-THOUSAND BLADES (lol?)
-Some sort of shock wave cone attack.
-Boon/Condition removal attack.

I would still like to see this and have our actual “2” attack slot be given to something that is useful and MOBILE so that, like the playstyle currently, you SET UP for the HB burst while actually having more mobile fighting available…
Of course currently the way they designed the GS burst lends itself to the idea that you stack adrenaline for the regen, crit% and damage increase and then never ever ever use that adrenaline…. maybe that’s what they were going for?

Of course a CC would be great but maybe too powerful combined with HB.

Pretty much just a “kill shot” for the Greatsword instead of the rifle.
Quickness isn’t happening.
High damage isn’t happening. GS is already a high damage weapon with mobility.
Should be hundred blades. Would suddenly make the GS a bit more of a strategic weapon, and allow Anet to increase it’s mediocre auto attack damage per second by upping the values slightly. Personally, at the moment, I see the mediocre adrenaline skill as it being balanced compared to other weapons (mainhand axe, for example).
I wouldn’t do Hundred blades, why for one is the only thing that makes the GS a heavy hitter and it rarely hits any real player. I would leave it as what it is just increase it’s damage to a point it actually burst and yeah maybe a stun, knock down or something would add something nice to it, maybe THEN hundred blades will be useful and the greatsword will be a viable weapon in real competitive grounds.
Don’t change it, just trait berserker power.
