Hi. Im looking to create a warrior. Im hesitating between Norn and Charr, but i’ going to take any suggestions!

If you tell me a race, please tell me why! (And don’t tell me all races fits, i want your opinion about why it fits the most with the class)

Charr Blood Legion, they are all about taking things by force and solving things through violence. The ferociousness of the Charr fits well with the Warrior paradigm

Battle Roar charr racial is basically a 2nd “For Great Justice”

works really well, sustains group fury longer and might.

Charr are just awesome anyways.

I think Norn present their armor the best though.

Asura – nothing quite like “Yoda”-lightsaber Hundred Blades animation.

If you’re gonna pvp, asura obviously. They get a real advantage because they’re small, harder to see what class they are, and their animations are smaller (which means harder to predict).

Human look good, but don’t really offer anything in terms of racial skills. (I recommend human to Guardians since Prayer of Lyssa is awesome on them!)

Norn don’t really offer anything in terms of racials, period..

Sylvari is good for bleedspam and extra 3 seconds of block because Take Root is a freaking overpowered elite skill!

Charr has Battle Roar (which can be used with For Great Justice) and Hidden Pistol for an extra dodge in emergencies. And awesome elites!

And Asura has Radiation Field for 15 second AoE weakness and Poison, plus a poison combo field.

Of all of these skills, I would have to recommend Charr. Not only because their racials have great uses (Hidden Pistol, kitten hidden pistol is amazing!), but also it fits with the lore about guns.

If you roll charr be prepared to hate your tail until you get some armor made for a charr, its my only frustration… other than the backwards footprints.

I have to say charr. I play a charr warrior and the heavy armor looks great on them. Just be sure to use cultural head armour because almost everything else looks bad. The charr fit perfectly from the fluff stand point because they are a race of warriors basically and all of them fight in some way. The norn come in a close second though, and they don’t have the armor problems that the charr do.
