I want to roam in WvW, but I’m a bit unsure as to which runes are better to use. Melandru? or Ruby Orbs? I’m a zerker warrior, s/sh gs but I’m not full glass. My main problem is dealing with all of the cripples and condis that are thrown around, so for that, I’d like melandru with dogged march, food, etc. But if I do that, I lose 12% crit dmg and some power and precision. Any advice? How much dmg would I lose if I picked melandru?

If you want a good balance between Melandru and Ruby orbs, go for Hoelbrak.

Hoelbrak has always been a better option than Melandru, imo. But you may want to hold off investing heavily into any expensive runes. The devs are changing EVERY rune set in a near-future patch, so the whole rune paradigm is going to shift significantly.

I agree with the gentleman above me, hold on to your cash! Both runes and prices are most likely going to get a rather big change.

On topic: I go with Melandru runes simply because I want to be a bit tankier. Are you not having troubles with direct damage I would suggest Hoelbrak. I also like the minus stun durations on the Melandru runes when I don’t have stability up. Melandru keeps you tankier and more mobile, Hoelbrak gives you an offensive buff and mobility. What goes best with your build and playstyle is up to you.

Like it has been said, they will be making a lot of changes to runes, I would wait a while before investing into them. Like it has also been said, Hoelbrak of Melandru are both good options.
