Does someone know how to unlock off-hand axe skill Whirling Axe? One same skill is unlocked but this one above it isn’t?

It’s unlocked on your bar though. This looks like a bug to me.

one is for pve/WvW and the other is for spvp/tpvp

But is there any way to unlock this or it must be grayed? Does anyone has both unlocked?

You cannot “unlock it”.

The grayed out skill is the PvP Whirling Axe.

I don’t know why they have it setup this way. At best it’s useless, at worst it’s completely confusing. As far as I know, it’s the only skill in the game like this. They should just have the tooltip on the skill change depending on what mode you’re in, like how it is for traits. For instance, necros don’t get a 13th trait in spite which is the PvP version of Dhuumfire, it just has a different tooltip with the different information on it.

Go to pvp, take axe and equip it offhand.
Had same thing on thief too when they changed cloak and dagger for pve and pvp

As you said, I played a lot of matches and it is still greyed! Is it bug?

Got the same bug.
I can see two “whirling axe” icon in PVE weapons skills panel, one unlocked, one grey.
I can see only one “whirling axe” icon in sPVP weapons skills panel, it’’s unlocked.

Really strange.
