Whirling Axe Projectile Blocking
I would like to see this since on my tank warrior I run an Axe offhand and having reflect to reduce damage even more would be appreciated!

Its should be buffed by 50% in pve and wvw too, make it reflect projectiles by default not by a trait, add stability and swiftness for duration. Tada a viable skill rdy to use

It’s quite obvious that we are not looking for the exact same buffs as the other similar skills on other professions but adding projectile blocking/reflecting is not gonna make it OP (can only block/reflect projectiles, melee hits and control abilities will still affect it).
It works logically because if I’m holding two axes or an axe and a sword and start spinning wildly fast then any arrows that come flying at me are going to be intercepted by my psycho spinning axes and effectively smacked away or chopped in half.

I was saying its should reflect on it own like thief does, not picking up a trait to actually do it.
Keep in mind, that the Ranger deals low damage with his whirling axes and is rooted in place.
I dont think you want to be rooted only to block projectiles…
Update 5.9.2013: getting better ANet, still way to go!

I don’t think it should reflect without a trait. Whirling Axe already is an adrenaline gold mine, does kinda good damage, and can be used on the move. Asking for basic projectile blocking, imo, is enough.
I think Warrior is strong enough to spin those axes so fast that it creates a vacuum pulling everyone in and popping their eyes.
Depends on the warrior. I heard a real warrior did that once in Orr and the kitten continent sunk as the waters rushed in.
Yeah, it would be a high-risk/high-reward skill.
