Why does my Warrior die after Rallying?
down skill 3 rallys the warrior, but only gives you a smallish chance on kill to come back to life.
So dont use it unless you know you are going to die from that mob.

Unless you have the Sweet Revenge trait in the Discipline tree.

The trait for Vengeance does make it 100%. It’s such an epic trait <3
I just wish Vengeance charged up a lot faster. It is alright in dungeons, but in solo PvE and any form of PvP you are dead before you can get a chance to use it.

You knock them down with 2, then vengeance up. Unless of course you’re getting piled on then you’re pretty much doomed anyway.

No, just one. If someone finishes and then finishes again after being knocked down, even if you time it perfectly, vengeance will not have recharged.
That being said I think it’s kind of okay as-is, other classes have to deal with something like that ele imobilize thing on their third skill which is pretty kitten in comparison

For those of us who haven’t unlocked sweet revenge it’s a good way to take someone down with you if you know you’re dying anyway in WvW… or at least get a shot at it.
Sometimes it’s great when you’re defending because it gives you a chance to run back to the fortress and die inside. / cries in the corner*

No, just one. If someone finishes and then finishes again after being knocked down, even if you time it perfectly, vengeance will not have recharged.

The Ele immobilize was originally the 2 skill, which it should’ve remained as or changed into a knockback or something, giving them vapor instantly available for use as soon as they’re downed was quite a dumb move, just a bandaid instead of actually tweaking the abilities.

You’ve got to time your knockdown correctly on the person trying to finish you. If you knock them right before they jump you’ll have just enough time for them to start again and then you vengeance and make a kill (guaranteed to rally if you’ve got the Sweet Revenge trait).

Maybe the downed Warrior farts hard enough to knock everyone around him? Or stomps with his leg, whatever…

That would be way too OP. If you could vengeance straight away it would have a lot shorter duration and probably not allow stomping.

I’d be happy if they got rid of the cast times on Vengeance and Hammer Toss and fixed it so that Hammer Toss worked more often. I’ve lost track of the amount of times I’ve been stomped due to the knockdown failing to hit the dude even though he doesn’t have stability, stealth, or evasion
Oh, it’d also be great if the chance to rally off Vengeance worked 100% of the time when killing a player without the bloody trait.
Still better than the necro downed state though.
Perhaps removed the Knockback and replace it an AoE fear? This way it’s equal to the Guardians knockback.
I guess it could work via Shouting and scaring your enemies or something?
