Dear ANet team… i want ask just one simple question: WHY YOU NERF TRAIT FOR SWORD??? i don’t want use a bad language…but this nerf it’s really bad!

Warrior can use much weapon and i want play all weapon with all equip (power or condition, defensive or offensive). I’m a sword/shield user with power set and previous balance was really good vs greatsword damage or vs other class. now it’s usuless…you force me to use sword with condition set and this isn’t correct…guild wars 2 it was not created for this, i must play with all weapon on all set…now nope. why? you can’t force an player to abandon his fevorite weapon or set because YOU decide an bad balance.

and i must pay 30 € for this… good job ANet team!

What are you taking about? I’ve been running power sword for two years and don’t even use Arms. Your better off with Strength if you want damage.

If you were using low precision gear and then boosting your crit chance with Arms, feel free to keep Arms, swap in higher precision gear and welcome to a mountain of ferocity to go with your power build.

Sure, this is what I’ve been roaming with lately. It’s had various incarnations, but here’s where it’s at now.

I was using Strength runes but switched to Hoelbrak a couple of weeks ago. The missing sigil is whatever… I’ve got Fire in there now as a hold over from a long time ago. It’s not bad for showing me where stealthed players are.

GS is the main damage dealer, and the alt set is a decent set up through cancelling Flurry or Shield Bash. Final Thrust is no slouch, especially if you’re carrying 25 might after swapping from gs.

I’ve tried some of the other traits, like the new Might Makes Right trait, and I’ve also swapped in traited axe instead of sword, but I’m getting better results roaming with the above.

Actually it very good now, and I am not so sure it “worse”. I was using arms before and was a bit miffed at the loss of precision out of Signet mastery and the loss of the 5 percent bonus to damgae and the 20 percent added crit rate to sword but if you use Signet mastery for ferocity you are ahead damage wise.
