Why we can't rush like that?
It’s less silly than running in place for a full second and a half or running past your target and then stopping to uppercut the air. But it’s okay, we don’t need skills like that fixed! We have a new animation for a gem store harvesting sickle!
That would be amazing! Rush needs to be a leap type move so it can be immune to the effects of cripple/chill (like Savage Leap.) This move looks more intense than Bull’s Rush, and it would certainly be a step in the right direction…

GW2 Warrior don’t use alot of magic. Magic use of a warrior is limited to magical weapons and magical signets. Magical would be items like Bolt/Volcanus Foefire Weapons…
They don’t channel that magic through their body.
The rush animation reflects this.

Savage leap and Earthshaker are themselves leapskills. They are both heavily hindered by chill. Cripple simlpy decreases how far you leap. Chill is so gross it’s molding.

1100 range! almost instantaneous compared to our GS 5 which is a slow,buggy and easily interrupted charge. Our bulls charge on a long cool down is only 600 range.

The range you can throw it is 900, add another 900 from its target location to the target in question for a total of 1800. I’ve seen people pulled off of cliffs in WvW using its insane range!

Shadow step for thieves ..a weapon skill-not that they need it with stealth- on a 1200 range zero cool down and spammable
After all that we can’t even get a decent long distance gap closer aside from bull’s charge which is NOT a weapon skill but a slotted skill? We are the only melee class that needs to close a gap..
GS5 has to be an instant gap closer no question about it. I’m surprised it hasn’t been implemented yet. Not that it would help much against multiple stealth and teleports.

He’s killing Damien’s lover, the source of his Invincibility. That guy you save is The Divine, the hero from the first game, who took pity on a baby Damien and kept him alive instead of killing him (Damien was born with a powerful demon inside him). In the first (Vanilla) part of Divinity 2, you are tricked into killing a memory of the Divine, bringing Damien’s lover back to life and restoring his invincibility. Oh, and she was the person telling you what to do the entire game, playing you like a fiddle, and trapping you in the same kind of crystal The Divine has been trapped in (everyone believes the Dragon Knights killed The Divine, but he was just sealed up), so it’s also getting revenge on the very person who would have had you sealed away for eternity.
Damien doesn’t die at the end, but the source of his invincibility is gone for good, you and The Divine are restored and hailed as the heroes you are, Patriach (an ungodly ancient dragon) taught you how to use his Wrath (a fireball that can wipe out small islands by causing a well, explosion big enough to cause a mushroom cloud, no joke), so whatever forces Damien would have left would likely be easy prey.
I own the game, obviously.
That music plays only during your one encounter with Patriarch, obviously, he’s got this awesome old guy vibe to him as well.
^ i also own this game ; ) comparing animations from D2 to GW2 is like comparing a lexus to fiat. Well explained story btw.
