So i just turned lvl78 on my first character and got 89k karma – meaning i can get 2 temple armor pieces but i have no idea witch should i get for max DPS. So i`m asking for the help of the senior members cause this game still feels pretty new to me, i would also like to get some tips about where from should i get the rest of my gear once i turn lvl 80 ?

I wouldn’t bother buying that stuff at 78. Just stick it out for 2 more levels. Then you can start gathering up your lvl 80 exotic gear.

For Weapons and Armor
Your best bet would probably be dungeons. Decide what gear set you want (Soldiers, Clerics, Knights, Zerker, etc) then look at the vendors to see if your desired set is offered. Run that dungeon to earn tokens, and buy your dungeon pieces.

For rings, amulet, accessorys
Save up your laurels and guild commendations, and buy the ascended versions from the laurel and guild vendor.

For back slot
Buy a decent rare or exo at 80, because it’s a loong haul to craft your own ascended backpiece, or earn the fractal version.

at just over 1g per piece you can buy zerker exotics for level 78. They are better than level 80 rares. Avoid the pieces with pricey runes (Like traveler’s).

Just checked. Level 78 exotic is Berserker’s Pit Fighter. The legs are just over 3g due to dolyak runes. However you can always use a black lion salvage kit to get that rune out once you have an upgrade and sell the rune to recoup the cost.

I don’t recommend wasting karma on temple gear if you are running zerker, none of the stats are worth it.

do some dungeons, you don’t have to be lv80 to do them

just the other day i did ascalonian catacombs with 3 necro’s. two the them under level 80 and one of them had never done the dungeon before. the party didn’t wipe once and we got through it just fine.

dungeon’s are probably one of the best ways to get your lv80 exotic weapons and armor.

If you have any Badges of Honor, you could always buy berserker gear from the wvw vendor.

If I was you i’d first go on sites like http://www.gw2armorgallery.com and decide on a look you want to aim for. You might find that the piece you want already comes with berserker stats and you can work on obtaining that. Save yourself wasting your time getting something just to replace it.
Then for anything left over either buy them with gold, or farm dungeons, CoF is an easy one to do with plenty of parties.
I wouldnt use karma for armor, its needed for legendary and ascended weapon and alot harder to come by then gold. Unless ofc you want it for looks.

No temple armor, dungeon armor.
CoE, CoF and Arah tokens can be exchanged for berserker amor. CoF is the easiest to complete so I would recommend you to go with that dungeon.
If you want to spend your karma on armor you can go for the exotic Soldier backpiece (the one with power, thoughness and vitality) since aquireing and exotic zerker backpiece for a good priece is very unlikely (you need 6 guild commendations and 5g to get one, or 1850 fractal relics -which is a lot if you are not even lvl80).
If you really want to get into playing a warrior in PvE, with a focus on dungeons just learn to deal with zerker armor. Tanky warriors are a waste of potential in dungeons (and a waste of time aswell)
