“kill yourself warrior scum”

“you should delete your warrior, useless class”

“it didnt help that you were playing warrior”

“you know every class does everything you can do better, right?”

Among countless others. These are games where I have like 200 points and am contributing greatly to the fights, and we happen to lose cause they play the map better. People just see fit to treat you like garbage and blame the game on you for picking warrior.

I’m especially happy that Anet has nothing to say on the topic and won’t even release a statement that they are working on balancing warriors! That gives me something to look forward to and a reason to keep playing!

Well, some people (most) have trouble blaming themselves, so they pick the easy target, which right now apparently is war:(

Sadly this is true. Yesterday I decided to play a few games with my warrior, trying to find a decent build etc. I hadn’t played warrior since HoT, so I really wanted to try it out myself. Even though I wasn’t doing that bad, I did receive toxic comments almost in every game.

Really sad, hopefully they do some changes soon.

Ha! I got a whisper from a DRAGONHUNTER lecturing and bashing me how to play my warrior. He says he switched from warrior to guardian, I WONDER WHY. lol

Needless to say, he’s blocked.

The thing is

Whenever you kill non warrior class, just teabag their dead body or your teammates dead body who complained.

If you are there to teabag it means you are still alive and did well. Mark this image into the people QQing about us playing warriors.

You won’t believe the trash playing meta professions that lose the game more, Emerald is a gold-mine of ego-tripping baddies.

Keep an eye out for DHs staying off point auto-attacking with LB and call them out, keep an eye out for Chronomancers not staying on a kitten point after just getting it.

Yeah some people just run meta builds and think that it will make them good lol… I killed a Dragonhunter on a base thief last night and I think he quit life after that.

Yeah man some of these people have my dying laughing. People trying to “nicely” explain to me like “hey, did you know warriors aren’t very good? You should watch the pro scene, even the guys who main warrior aren’t picking warrior, did you know that?”

Talking to me like I’m a complete casual or I live under a rock, that must be the only reason I’m playing a warrior, lmao.

Personally, as someone that used to main engi but didn’t like scrapper (still condi for raids) and dh isn’t my style.. I’ve been very very successful with warror in pvp.

I think I went 6&1 tonight in ranked.

What I usually do when I know I’m going to get flamed is, turn off team chat and map chat when in a match. Then you don’t even notice anything happening.

There are 2 types of players in this world. The ones that will play any class to win, and the ones that will stick to their class through thick and thin.

Neither understands each other.

I am not going to lie, recently this type of treatment as made me extremely salty to almost everyone. Anytime I down a Dragon Hunter or Specifically a Rev. I take great pride in pouring salt into their wounds.

This has also made me rather aggressive to them, which is uncalled for…but eh I need some where to focus my anger. Might as well be towards them. xD

Yea, there’s no justification for that behavior. You’re pointing your finger at the company that developed the game you enjoy instead of people who are directly being kittens to you…I don’t think you have your priorities straight.
