I’ve been tossing it over in my mind, but I just can’t quite seem to choose. To you others who roam the ol’ power Warrior, which foods do you tend to run and why? Im kind of tempted to run a regen food to go alongside my already powerful sustain, or alternatively some Saffron bread for the 20% reduction while stunned/knocked down/back.

Any ideas?

I see that on warrior a lot.
Don’t use saffron bread, you are likely using endure pain/balanced stance on the skill bar or in the traits. If you want to use a dmg reduction food use one of the -10% ALWAYS ones.

I typically run Fried Golden Dumplings, if I’m going to run a food. It works really well with a traited gs for huge might stacks, and the boon duration buff applies to stability, resistance, vigor, fury, etc. as well.

I used to run saffron bread for the condi reduction (-20% at all times), but never really noticed the damage reduction because it’s so situational. Still, it’s cheap, as is mango pie. Neither one compares to the dumplings though… even defensively, due to the boon duration buff.

I like either a bowl of curry butternut squash soup or bowl of sweet and spicy butternut squash soup…depends on what class i am running with if solo i will sometimes go plate of truffle steak…all 3 are for the stat boosts

It’s been a while since I haven’t roamed, but I remember giving a try to Bowl of Orrian Truffle and Meat Stew and was happy with it.

When running GS/Sword/Shield, I was using some Prickly Pear Pie, real life steal being 66% if I remember correctly.

carrot souffle (200 power for 30 sec on kill, 70 ferocity….if ur rly good with warrior movement then this is potentially the best food for when you are actively taking objectives on the map; otherwise it will often be a case of having too much power and too little sustain), omnommberry ghost (the icecream version tho since cheaper…great for sustain and it does damage ticks 2-300 or something but it has a 2s cd or somethign liek that tho so you need to be dishing out hits), dumplings (20% boon duration and might on crit….some people call it the best warrior food, i just like the boon duration mainly), roasted parnsips ( 60 toughness 36% stun duration decrease cheap group food or if I just want to toss something on my char that cost me 2c but isn’t crap, the 70 tougness 20% boon duration sugar rush (dry top soulbound food)…although honestly I’ve had little success with this food even though it has the stats I should want/need

uhhhhhh what else…

saffron bread (staple food for dealing with thieves/daredevils, not really as relevant anymore for anyhting other than that with the present stability buffs), the lvl 80 passive health regen + 70vitality food (good for situations where you can’t land enough attacks to justify lifesteal food aka running away alot, if u run alot of blocks that buy you a few seconds (i.e. shield 5) of not being attacked then that works well with it).

Also the Orrian truffle and meat stew….or whatever the thing that gives you +40% endurance regen is worth trying….especially in conjunction with signet of stamina, which will give you a passive 90% endurance regen. its very expensive and sometimes its like having 0 food buffs at all on ur character…which isn’t good, but its interesting and gives u diff options.

I carry all these foods on my character

utilities: I just use peppermint oil stuff…lvl 80 precision increase. Its the cheapest utility that gives lvl 80 stats. if ur money smart you will make this ur food, and adjust ur gear to compensate if it gives too much precisiion.

No, I haven’t for years. I only mentioned it because Justine had said in the post above mine that she’s seen a lot of warriors run it. I suppose it’s fine for what it is… a tiny bit of extra health whose cost you’ll cover after killing one sentry.

Golden Fried Dumplings are my primary food these days due to the might-centered nature of my builds. But I haven’t actually been running it (or any food/util) while roaming about lately even though I’m sitting on more than 1000 of the dumplings, plus a bunch of sharpening stones and oils.

as an alternative to the dumplings you can go for the Omnomberry Pie for the Life Steal on crit.

A quick note about the stones though, it really depends on your stats otherwise. I boost my ferocity using a cruelty sigil, which when combined with my might and max power, leaves me a little short in the precision department. That has me choosing oil instead.
