Ahoy mateys, any of ye salty dogs be havin o’ fare Hammer/Shout build or somethin’ hammer related ’wit da survivability?

Be lookin’ fer such o’ build but can be seemin ’ta find one.

Also be includin ’da runes/sigils ye be usin as well.

Shouts means 30 in tactics. Hammer means 30 in Defense.

Will you really ignore the CC utilities to combo with the hammer for Shouts?

Hydromancy for the Hammer swap-in and Energy for the swap-out. Soldier runes, definitely!

I’m trying everything out at this point, had a frien tell me he was running a shout build with hammer and worked really well for him, but he didn’t give me any details. I’m running a hybrid buil now, it’s ok but lacks some major Cc

well 20 in def for hammer, 10/0/20/30/10 , the 10 point ones are to pick up the adreniline based crit and dmg traits. runes of the soldier, force sigil in my hammer, leg specialist thats how I roll anyway.

run whatever gear you want, I use a mix of valk knights and zerker

As much as I hate arming the enemy.

I run 0/0/30/30/10 Shout Healing, Soldier Runes. Power Toughness Vitality Armor Weapons with mixed Knights and Berserker’s Accessories. I use Hammer / Sword & Shield

Sigils are Hammer Bloodlust, Sword Blood, Shield Bloodlust I weapon swap allot so I try and maximize the amounts of Bloodlust stacks I can get.

It is mandatory to take 30 in Tactics and 20 in Defense (20% faster shouts, shouts heal, 20% cooldown from hammer). To maximize shouting, you probably want to run with 3 shout utilities at all times (For Great Justice, Shake It Off and On My Mark).

The remaining 20 points are up to your discretion, just try to avoid traits that give benefits based on adrenaline level. This is because of your strongest attack, Earthshaker, which uses your adrenaline. Having quicker adrenaline recharge is great, so Embrace The Pain and Inspiring Shouts are great.

Its a bunker build in every sense of the word, you AE heal and AE remove conditions as well as group buff and have amazing CC. In group play that build is a monster.

Take that build and roam with another DPS!

But solo it takes months to kill anything :/

I am trying out Hammer / Physical skills build and that is fun. Bulls Rush, Bolos, kick plus all the hammer CC skills. Mix of power and toughness.
