Yak’s Bend(TWIN) Racist against Sylvari

This is my current build, and having great success. Just wondering what everyone else is running post patch and how you feel you are comparing.
is this a roamer build? a decent zerg caster have more armor.
Yes. It’s a solo roaming build.
Do you really need Signet Mastery AND warrior sprint? Mobile Strike is a better option IMO to get out of sticky situations. With Signet Mastery you already have a good uptime on swiftness and your GS movement skills improve on that. All the speed buffs in the world is rather pointless if you get hit with a immob.
I’m currently using this build in both wvw (roaming, zerg, w/e) and pve, and it’s proving quite successful. I’ll sometimes swap out sword / shield for my GS if I need to be more mobile vs defensive, but using SoR and FGJ + the food I have a constant 5+ stacks of might, which is amazing.
This is another build I use in wvw (roaming, zerg, w/e) from time to time as well. The focus of this build is to be able to put on conditions consistently, while being fairly immune to them myself. I’ve been thinking of taking out signet mastery for something else, but having 2 full condition wipes up regularly is extremely handy against those monstrous condition-splosion necro builds.
I have used a similar build to Furajir and it is pretty solid. I have a few pieces of Cavalier instead of Celestial and full exotic instead. I have a hard time wanting to use a greatsword anymore.
Does anyone have a good roamer condition build and condition warrior build for small ops to zerging?

My 2nd post showing my condition build is pretty amazing for both functions Artemis if you want to try it. It does well in 1v1’s too. Not the most lol-tastic condition dps build out there, but you’ll survive some serious kitten.
Running this lately, Artemis:
Just switching Banner for SoR for 2-5men group.
Best roaming with great mobility and decent dps.
This isn’t a build I’ve tested with roaming yet, and quite frankly I haven’t posted anything previously because I always feel they could be better, but I’ve had a lot of success with this recently. http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fIAQNAR3XjkOxwpQaP4wBEkCN8LUPmD3oNSKCDyA-jUyAYfBZiCEZBg4An9KiGbhrIasKbMl7iq1uASBwkwI-w The stances (other than balanced) can be swapped out at will, and I like having the banner because it improved how I wanted the build to work when I swapped in to it. Signet of rage is obviously the better choice for very small group or roaming, but I run standard for group play because a quick rez of 2-3 people can turn tides. Offhand axe can be swapped out for basically anything else. I’ve found love in shield myself, and on occasion swapping to healing surge has been great success as well. Greatsword for the majority of group play and mobility, and axe for picking on single targets when you get the time, and to build adrenaline quickly. Oh an this runs soldiers armor because I’d like this build to be able to survive a trip through the train.
Hey all,
Im having some success in zerges with this build:
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fIAQJASUjkOFvNPKPMRCE0DtgLEQjifQ8UFmjUB0A-jkyAYMACBQCsIasV2ioxqYwUlRWfmUlLgBHwbwoVLFQEjBA-w
What im going for is control and damage against weak. The hammer nerfs can be somewhat mitigated this way.
Any advice or suggestions?

This is actually a really nice build that works WITH the changes, and adapts to a different role than usual hammer builds. I like it. A suggestion I would have is to go with ascended zerker trinkets instead of exotic, as it gives you higher critical damage and precision (I believe) in the end. Something else I noticed was the choice of sigils on the weapons. While the increase to stun duration works well with the traits, I dont feel a flat % increase on something so short will do much. I usually run with sigil of fire because of the extra bit of AOE damage you can do in a push. And sigil of intelligence on rifle isnt 100% great, but if you wanted to swap and get that crit kill shot on someone on a whim, you could do it. I also messed with the traits a bit, and changed warriors spirit out for inspiring shouts, because that extra bit of adrenaline is very nice in a hammer build. Last point I’d make is that if you could, find a way to get more points into the discipline tree for some of the nicer traits, and also because of that boost to critical damage (being a flat % increase is very large).
I made my changes here: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fIAQJASUjkOFvNPKPMRCE0DtgLEQjifQ8UFgjUB0A-j0CBYgQYMAkFAEHQJQFRjtyqIasKGY6TJV5SQ2gTQ2bQZVKgIGDA-w
My contribution:
Frenzy and the updated Last Chance give me all kinds of quickness, and since I can stack might from blocks and GS the burn / bleed counteracts any regen warriors. Zerging isn’t a problem since there’s always somebody to burst on. I’m running guardian these days, but its still fun to punch people with this build.
g/s & sw/sh is working well for me at the moment. zoom zoom!

I’m still enjoying Mace+Shield/Greatsowrd even after the Unsuspecting Foe and Skull Crack nerfs. I just did a write-up on Into The Mists today.

Apparently, my sarcasm wasn’t thick enough. I have -103% to immob/cripple/chill. Immobs aren’t even a forethought.

Oh well now that you make it clear, it seems I’m sitting at the bottom of an ocean that seems to have rolled in over my head…
i’m doing very well in the zerg with this build (shout front-liner warrior)

This is what I am using in WvW at present when blob smashing. If I am scouting or roaming I switch around some of the traits and skills, sometimes change the warhorn for a shield and hammer for a greatsword etc.
The odd sigil choices on warhorn/sword are a result of howl/bolt and I can’t face reslotting them (how I wish legendary weapons had changeable sigils) those sigils work well enough anyway.
I will be replacing the armor with a full set of ascended knights with 2 mel + 4 resistance runes soonish.

Here is my build, I’m calling it “Super Knight”. It’s awesome! I can 1vs1 better than I ever have, I’m super tough, and I can still put out good damage.
With full ascended gear you can get over 4000 armor. With exotic gear you can get over 3800 armor. This build has S/B and GS for maximum mobility. Healing signet for healing ticks when you need to run or get out of a range radius of attack. Shake it Off for removing conditions. Dolyak signet for extra armor and stability. Endure Pain for temporary invulnerability. Signet of Rage for stat boosts. Frostgorge clams and sharpening stone for added precision and toughness. Melandru runes for extra toughness and too minimize condition duration.
Classes to watch out for in 1vs1: Condition necro, D/P thief. The condition necro you down a lot easier than the D/P thief.
The objective of this class is to keep you mobile and not let you get pinned down while being super tough and putting out good damage. I would recommend stacking bloodlust with your main sword to 25 before roaming. Stay mobile at all times.
Savage Leap > Shield Bash > Flurry —- switch to G/S —- Hundred Blades (2-3 hits max) > Bladetrail > Whirldwind Attack > Rush
Roam at a safe distance to get some healing signet ticks. Savage Leap, Whirlwind Attack, or Rush to stay mobile. Cure conditions with Shake it Off, activate Dolyak Signet, or activate Endure Pain if necessary. Then go back through your attack cycle switching it up as the opponent changes his routine to get the most efficient attack.
The key to winning in WvW is to know your opponent before you attack them, stay mobile while you are attacking them, know when to run, and keep an eye on your surroundings for other opponents or zergs. Sometimes I can’t finish a fight, and I will run. That’s OK, because there is ALWAYS someone else to fight. If you get into a fight and you aren’t winning and you know you can’t win, then run.

Gotta love those Superior Runes of Melandru. Definitely going to look into that build once I can build up the Rune base just because of the extra slot not needing Mobile Strikes gives you.
Why Warrior’s Stance instead of Vigorous Focus? You do have GS 3 to escape with and Bull’s Charge to chase with without needing the extra footspeed. Maybe I’m just a little too fond of dodging into GS 3 to escape sticky situations though.
replace Signet Mastery with Mobile Strikes, and you have the traits I have been running for months…
