WvW Zerg Build Comments/Help
Hmmm… is this any better? I don’t know why no one is commenting. I see a lot of talk about roaming builds. I really need a guild/zerg build that helps out my team. Is there a certain amount of toughness or vitality I should aim for?

Your builds are not bad at all, which is why they did not elicit particular responses.
Your choice of weapon – hammer, sword and warhorn – is pretty standard. You need to trait them, so 30 points in Defense and 20 points in Tactics are necessary. With this base you’ll get:
- a direct damage build, in which you need to balance damage and resilience,
- good condition removal, all the more you’ll get cleansing ire as well,
- abundant swiftness and vigor, so no need for “Warrior’s Sprint”, “Vigorous Focus” or the Signet of Stamina.
As for base stats, I think you should aim for at least 2.1k Power, 40% critical chance, 180% critical damage and 3.1k toughness. Vitality is a bonus (the base HP pool is already good).
Now, if you want to spec for support, then get the soldier runes, get “Vigorous Shouts” and “Inspiring Shouts”. In utilities, go for the "Balanced Stance, “Fear Me” and “For Great Justice” (at least two shouts to get enough profit from the trait investment). You’d probably want “Battle Standard” instead of the Signet of Rage.
If you want to spec for damage, then go with Hoelbrak, and get “Signet Mastery” and “Destruction of the Empowered”. Try and stick to the Signet of Rage, get the “Dolyak Signet”, “Endure Pain” and “Fear Me” / “For Great Justice”.
Don’t hesitate to discuss with your guild: what formation(s) and the associated roles, what phases for the assault and the related skills, the workings of combos, and so forth.
